The big One is a Laftebile. A Norwegian Double bevel hewing axe. Weight of the head is usually somewhere around 2kg. There are various different Patterns of Laftebile tho.
"narrow axe" smaløks and "laftebile" broadaxe, the "laftebile" are made in many configurations and are quite regional in design. They are made in most of the nordics, norway, sweden, finland. Blacksmith is "smed" in norwegian and swedish. Google: laftebile and smed
What a good quality of wood and what a tremendous gift and skill it is to work wood in that way.
Truly a lost art.
