Oh please! Mahomes couldn’t score a touchdown on our backups, he lost the game. I called this on Saturday, there will be no mention of that. No mention of Hooker playing well and beating Mahomes. Just a bunch of deep throating Mahomes for an 8 yard pass against 3rd stringers. Shit is pathetic

Originally I Missed it, So I had to look again, I Laughed, that's it, Hey Its Patrick, I been with him since 2018, I have seen Many many Gems.
I didn't know how the play would work, but this play work. The way the D flowed in front a Mahomes, it left the opening for it. It's the same concept as the shovel pass, but more risky and more rewarding.
It was a tunnel screen setup by the misdirection early in the play
It was honestly beautiful seeing the tunnel screen open up and mahomes whip that pass behind his back

Of course you get a bit tired and salty when Mahomes beat your team. Have that attitude during that game. That is one thing, but to not enjoy greatness that is showing something uniqe during a period of time in the league. Just be happy that it is there while it lasts. Because it isn’t that common.

@@KevonDaDonA not a huge gain, but if it was improvised, he could do it at any time. This is in contrast to if it was planned, it only needs defended when certain plays are called.
I think it wasn’t THE called play but a variation of it and kelce did the wrong thing on purpose. The chiefs always have variations of certain plays that they won’t use until the playoffs or a crucial spot. Mahomes and Andy aren’t very happy about revealing that play already therefore pat saying grab rna the wrong play and trav gets to play it off jokingly
Preseason games are no longer the practice games florio grew up watching. They are closer to a meaningful game than they have ever been. Mahomes might get 20 possessions this preseason, and that one play was fun as he'l to watch.
