My favorite thing is watching professionals talk about their profession, especially when it's someone like Kelce or Gronk who can come off as a bit of a himbo when not on the field.
Remember Sam Laporta attended teu and became the record rookie in receiving in Detroit and in history
I hate Travis Kelce but anyone thats watched enough of travis kelce knows that this guy doesnt run routes, he improvises on the field. His football IQ is INCREDIBLY HIGH, so he’s given complete freedom from coach Reid to go wherever he wants. He knows the coverage and knows exactly where to go everytime. Thats why hes ALWAYS OPEN.
FILM. IS. USELSSS. Vs this guy.
Its insane.
Plus having a purely psychic connection to your quarterback helps alot.
Why do you hate someone that's done nothing to you ?...that's kinds psychotic lol
Anyone arguing the Gronk vs Kelce should watch this video and understand that Gronk can do the same thing with the Patriots E-P offensive system. This is why their games look so different at a fundamental level, the system in which they adapted to their role.
As a 49er fan for 30 years... he BURNT the f out of Fred Warner in the Super Bowl
In other words, "what I have can't be taught."
That’s why he’s better then Gronk
No. First thing he said was learn what defense is doing to help yourself. Anybody can do that to help
He just taught it wtf. Get off yo momma's couch.
You learn this in HS football bro
@@westonbrewster8344watch your mouth
If they don't get every concept, they will understand that if they want to be elite they need this level of study and detail. He works hard off the field and the dude's football IQ is top notch. You also need a QB who can adjust in milliseconds and a coach who is open minded to seeing the benefit of in-game adjustments.
This dude is the Jason Kelce of Tight Ends
He basically said watch film, watch the DCs film from their past and who taught it to them. Watch more film on DBs coaches who they are and what they’ve been taught. It’s him saying always be locked in on game film study your opponent know their tendencies.
Never seen a dude run so wide open. Belichick was the only coach that knew how to take him away.
And that was only sometimes. And when he did, it allowed others on the Chiefs to get open.
@eljobo3258 go look at his numbers vs NE. They are very average. These DCs just let him run freely knowing he's getting the ball
@@eljobo3258Kelce scored only 2 touchdowns against NE in his entire career. Bill Belichick is the greatest defensive mind in NFL history.
The great thing about this is, everyone benefits. Kelce included. Do you think coaches and management won’t look at this and think: “I want that guy coaching my receivers when he retires”?
When you pay a crap ton of money for someone, make sure you get more out of them than just their on the field performance.
I think Travis has great potential to be a broadcaster after he's done playing.
I wish Gronk was there to raise his hand and say "Why no just smash tiny humans and catch ball with triple"?
Why would you want Gronk to embarrass himself lmao? For some reason Kelce is still playing and Gronk is not lol. Nobody cares about that
@@BM-qz4rs Kelce needs to be a genius in order to be dominant, whereas Gronk was dominant because he could.
is it from this year's event?
Yes. On their Newheightshow he said he just winged it more or less this year whereas last year he had a very technical lesson plan and presentation. He thought that it might have flown over the head some of the younger Tight Ends.
If Tay Tay has money on the game he will throw. no pressure.
Damn Trav, don't give away your secrets before you retire! If he wasn't going to be a billionaire soon, I'd say he'd make a good coach. That ain't happen now.
Thing is people know how he plays, they just can’t stop it
@@BratatoChipexactly right.
It doesn’t matter, he knows how to counter what you do. That’s what greatness is.. there’s always an answer
@@BratatoChipThe only team I can think of that did stop him was that 2020 bucs defense. Boy were they scary….
@@bigchungus1848 only reason they stopped him was because his entire starting o line was out injured 😂😂
Look I'm a Chiefs fan have been for over 30 years I played tight end in high school. Tony g my favorite player of all time but man I can really tell where the blocking is gone this sounds like a wide receiver camp that I went to when I was a kid
Other TEs spoke about blocking at the same event if you look through other videos.
DANG...Travis just got even hotter.. that football IQ 😮
Today I found out I'm a lot dumber than travis kelce
What a fancy way to break down a kids game.
I’m glad I’m just a fan and can enjoy the game. I have no clue what the fuck he is talking about lmao! Just throw the ball, catch the ball, run the ball, and blow people up! Everything else meh. What a dude!
Vanderbilt? 😮
Yeah. That's where Kittle, Kelce, and Greg Olsen put on Tight End University every year.
