Alot of Pico's Day Rumble has a ton of references. The first song takes place after Bf and Gf leave in Week 7, The 2nd song is a reference to Newgrounds Showdown which was a collab made on Pico Day in 2008, they whole reason they killed each other was because the 3 of were wanted and one of them could claim the reward for killing two of them if I recall correctly. The 3rd song is a reference to Cassandra who is both the main antagonist and final boss of Pico's School. She is both human and reptilian and is also in love with Pico. In the last half of the song she turns into her reptilian form which is also primarily male. Basically Pico Day was made by Tom Fulp, creator of both Pico and Newgrounds, to celebrate him as a very well-known mascot of the Newgrounds community.
The last song is when pico’s school gets shot up and he survives the shooting but has severe schizophrenia and ptsd so he always has to carry a gun on him
While the voice itself sounds awkward, it's actually insanely close to how his vocals sound in the original game, so honestly I really like em. He sounds like he's perpetually using Voicemod but tbh I think it works lmao.
