Great idea to test this with two people talking naturally.

Cheers Alex.......many thanks for watching....going to do a few more test's with these two lovely people. Cant wait as they have a lot of good stories to tell which is good for testing audio with their great dialogue.

Hi Jonathan, thanks for watching...they are the high sensitivity ones....and I also used the high boost capsule as well for that extra boost with the furry on them.....a fantastic lav....if you buy one you will not regret it sir!!!

Wow! Amazing how good they sound! And so little noice! Did you plug the dpa into the H6 and then lined into the camera? I tried Rode Lavalier into the BMPCC4k, both into miniXLR and mic 3.5 but with awful lot of noise there.

Hey Tommy, thanks for watching. I did the double recording method. I used the Sennheiser AVX Reciever & Transmitter with the DPA 4060's so it was not connected to the Canon 70D. It is a lot more work that way but I do prefer to record the audio seperate. Those DPA 4060's are fantastic with a really low self noise. (I used a Sennheiser 416 boomed just out of shot for scratch audio).

Thank you so much for the info! I have Senheizer ew100 G3 and try to figure out if it can provide phantom power to the DPA. If the mic needs it? Best, Tommy

@@Tommygardh The mic does not need it as far as I am aware......the AVX's do not need it neither but it works with it too.....give it a go Tommy...it should be fine. would love to hear the audio that you get from it if thats ok!!

Brilliant clarity though for myself I would have upped the volume in post. Was the mic connected by direct line or wireless. Was the H6 attached to the camera and feeding the sound into the camera and what camera was used. Cheers Vin

Hi Vin....many thanks for watching and your feed back sir. I did a double system when recording this video, so the ZOOM H6 was not connected to the camera which 95% of the time is my favourite way of gathering audio. And yes maybe I should have upped the audio a little bit in post, but i think that still shows the clarity of the DPA 4060's even at a slightly lower volume.....and the ZOOM H6 as a prosumer recorder did well too.

@@BlackSteelBlackSteelPromotions I use Power Director Ultimate and Filmora, between the two I get a reasonable result on a double system too. h6 connected to a mixer and audio sync it on to the film clip. seems to be the cleanest way. You're more up market than me I use a Boya wireless mic both lavalier and hand held though at Perth Poetry Club its always a wire into the mixer as described. You didn't mention the camera, don't tell me you got that off a phone and I should throw my cameras away!!!

@@performancedownunder5773 Hi again Vin.....i used the Canon 70D with the Sigma 18-35mm Art lens...i love that lens an absolute beast for the money.......the 70D lacks a lot of dynamic range and certain codecs that I would like to have, but in daylight and good lighting it's not too bad.....also if your interested i did a test with the Sennheiser MKH416 with the Rycote Windsheild Kit 416 & another test with the Sennheiser MKH 8060 too!!!.........ruclips.net/video/gX6zCX1K51k/видео.html..............ruclips.net/video/CnyD3BhBrNY/видео.html
