This is 10 years late. I connected my BK7M to a new Roland Fantom 07 but signal is not going to the BK. Chord symbol doesn't change when hit a key. I've looked at settings but can't tell why its not communicating. Might you have a suggestion?
The BK-7M is a great module with loads of features, I have the BK-7M attached to my Korg Krome, you can disable the sound from the BK by just pressing each button and when the lights out they make no sound but the rhythm section still works fine, turn up the sound on your keyboard and away you go, you can even mix the two so using sounds from the BK and the Keyboard. Make sure you are not in OTS mode though.
Is it possible to still play the rd700 sounds while using the backings from the module?....also can the module recognise chords across the whole keyboard?
I have tried and tried to find a BK 7M for sale in the UK, and its impossible, nobody has them for sale including Amazon UK and many other reputable companies. All say its no longer available.

@@christianmoraofficial6085 you may have sorted it by now? You need to go into global settings and take out bass. Then you use mute button on panel. It's a bit tedious but the only way to do this. Bk7m is a great bit of kit but would have been better to be able to control individual backing parts with pots/sliders.

Jim Walker how can I mute the bass of the backing track? And do it by myself? I don't want the original bass it brings and control it by my own
