Loved mine so much, just got rid of it but such a great car to drive Wouldn’t say it’s cheap to maintain I had a lot of issues in just the. 4 months owning. TPS went costing £385 then loads of other issues so got rid of it. But as a car it’s very comfortable, faster than advertised, extremely pretty car, well priced, and extremely advanced for its time, also the back seats are extremely functional and i at 185cm can fit behind my own seat. Would definitely own again
Had 1997 coupe for a few years now. Gotta say, truely not cheap thing to maintain, but an absolutely lovely thing to take on a curvy road or a highway.
I bought one a year ago for $3500 AUD. Very smooth car. Everything works except AC which I did not fix as I could drive with roof down in summer. One thing that is very different about this car is it does not have an AC switch. After reading manual I came to know it is always on AC.
Enjoyed the video, thank you. Lovely motor indeed. I think if you can find an excellent low mileage one and put it away it could become a desirable classic in a few years time.
the main thing too look out for is rust along the bottom of the doors and around the boot lock

@@stanopltd I just bought a CLK 320 coop 2001 model, I will be doing a full video on that very soon, loving it so far, and they’re worth buying.
