Worth noting that in the second half vs Bayern Spurs had their normal defence - Vacario, Poro, Romero, VDV and Udoggie and Bayern didn't score. This Spurs defence is one of the best in the league - have a look at goals conceded last season when that defence was on the field.

I’m so looking forward to how this season is going to roll out, the amount of times opportunities for goals fall apart because we have no one to finish off. I expect Son and Solanke will click because they both have awareness, skills, great football brains and put in defence pressure. What’s more they both take free kicks. Things in my opinion Johnson & Kulu don’t have. Another plus is the type of mentor Son will be for Solanke. Madder needs to be challenged to keep his spot, he didn’t look interested when he came back from injury. Madders and Solanke already have a connection so hopefully that will spur Madders. I’m hoping Solanke will be on the end of some of the feeds Werner creates. I’m aware that many don’t rate Werner but I think he has something that will assist Son & Solanke.

Regarding the set piece coach issue, an Australian perspective:
I agree that the problem is partly down to personnel on the pitch. But I also think Ange is relying on and showing his loyalty to fellow Aussie (and Socceroos captain when Ange was coach) Mile Jedinak, who it appears is not top drawer in that particular department…

Hey mate! Thanks for the question. Would welcome them on although we make a promise to our listeners to not dive into the ownership beyond reviewing the annual reports and estimating spend based on balance sheets/financial results.
We could look at doing an episode specifically around the ownership as a one off. It's just hard to find the right moment. When things are good it's easy to defend the owners, when it's a bit stormy it's easy to be the other side.
Thinking aloud we could hop on Tottenhamaway and discuss on their channel if they're happy to have us. That way we can have the debate without going against our promise to our core audience that we won't debate the ownership. COYS
