Hey FGW, I think that glass may be what is called Iceland spar. First discovered there, hence the name. If you look through it and your straight😊 you should see double whatever you're looking at. Great fun. You have rainey days, we have 120 degree days. Table top panning! Yee-Haa!!
Vitamins and minerals😆 what a show you put on this time Jason truly enjoyed this one been a while since I watched anybody paying a bag of pay dirt I swore that stuff off and only go for the real digging lol keep up the great work 🤘⛏️🇺🇲
Nick's letter was the best, thanks for sharing. nice package from Alaska, that thing is like the size of a small wreckin ball, can't wait for part 2 and November. take care.
Thanks for the video. I see the boys were saying- "Hey! It's a rain day. What are you waking us up for? I don't see any Bobolinks in your mitts so we'll stay here and you can go to the garage." They have their priorities set for rainy day relaxation. We all love them anyway! Looks like some fun samples. Have a good weekend. COBBLES!🍻

Definitely a nice rainy day well spent! Lots of vitamins and minerals to keep you healthy too! When you pulled the black sand I thought you were going to do the 3 pan method of pulling magnetics into a new pan over and over to remove anything caught up. Totally forgot you had the separator! I enjoy that you use all your toys... I mean tools. lol then let them sit for a while.
Its definitely nice using different techniques with different materials! I couldn’t believe the amount of magnetics !!!!! Hows the weather up in alberta ?

Will send another email drawing of this John-design. Depending on the length of the small diameter water piping, one can have the sluice sitting within the creek waterway flow or on the dry bank (alongside the battery and water pumps) draining back into the waterway. Massively the best, as one doesn't shovel any rocks, boulders, cobbles, but sucks up all the desired particulates. No classifiers or bucket work to do. If one wanted to do a backpack of the battery and water pumps for increased mobility that is eezy peezy. The best option is using the device at the Lake. A long suction water hose into Lake Superior, and the water jet plowing and sucking up through the 2 softball-sized pond water fountain pumps. Just keep sucking up the black sands on the shoreline (mowing the lawn) into the sluice. No more shoveling, bucket brigades, and water catchment tub. One is then left with the purest of black sands and shinies to finish at home. One could also make this unit into a backpack system as well. Sluice, battery, 2 small water pumps, hosing units, water jet nozzle, small fines catchment bucket, (optional gold pan) - lightweight and deadly for shinies.
Walmart sells some 3 inch screens for coffee filtering that are 1x 4 microns - that might be a good option in classifying black sand and higher particulates.
