A lot of them that say "I don't need a man" don't necessarily mean they don't need a man in general. What they're saying is that they don't need a "Boyfriend or a Husband" because they're comfortable going from man to man to man for sexual pleasure and financial usage but they don't want the boundaries of being in a committed relationship because that would only create more obstacles for what she's really trying to do. Women that don't get into relationships but only situationships do this not because they like unhealthy relationships with men but because they entertain multiple short-term men in order to use them all rather than being committed and tied down to only one man and that one man's resources and sex. I was debating this a couple years ago on Facebook. Both men and women said that body count doesn't matter but the future matters between them. Because it is assumed that everybody is out in these streets. Its also a "Don't ask don't tell" policy regarding a person's sexual history.

This body count thing is a tough subject cuz to me, most modern women will lie about their count, thus that whole “Take the number & multiply by 3” is sadly true.
I know some argue, why bother asking? I think as they vid points out, while the number you get may be lower than they tell you - You can tell a lot by “how” they take you asking them & by how they try to dance around the subject.
