I'd decorate the pieces of cardboard first and I would use glue to make the joints more sturdy, but all in all, this is a great, affordable and easy idea. Thanks for sharing.

I like this a lot! Easy to modify and adjust for drawer size/spacing. I even have the same perler base! Lol.
