Sheepz , horses-no-ponies, paths-no-paths, stone circles!, spring narcissus & again beautiful views!! Oh, and drones to boot!!! Another lovely walk. Thank you 🍂
Well I did it, High Rigg was stunning in full bloom with the heather, it was a carpet of Purple. For not a lot of effort I was at the top and spent al ot of time wandering across towards St John inthe Vale and back. Wonderful
Completed this one last week. It was my first Wainwright! I parked by Legburthwaite and followed the path from the south. I wish i saw this video first because that path was pants. Lots of scrambling. Thanks for the video 🐴
I remember thinking when we got to Castlerigg that it would have been a perfect place to film Close Encounters of the Third Kind .. The hills all around the circle seem all to be pointing to the circle .You felt like you were in the center of the world .WOnderful filming .Thanks for taking us on your 6.5 mile jaunt .. I was out of breath just watching :)
Nice to see the Low Nest Farm again, where we stayed in June 2022. The way to the Stone Circle was my dog's, Duna, most favourite tour. Or down to Keswick, to pick something from the Dog Menu in the Hope Café. Beginning of June this year we will return to Grasmere again. Not without visiting the Stone Circle and the Low Nest farm with its great dog playing area.
Just playing catch up on your last couple of videos and as always enjoying them. Beautiful scenery and a lovely relaxing lunchtime watch. Thanks again for another great video. Cant wait to be back up there at the weekend. Somewhere quieter we hope with it being the bank holiday. Fingers crossed for the sunshine.
Thank you - hope you get a good day (and not too busy!). Oddly, with the Lakes often the weekends either side of bank holidays can be busier than the bank holidays themselves (but don't hold me to that!). Take care
Hi Neil, what a belting little walk, might have to give that one a go, thanks for sharing your day’s adventures with us as always All the best, Dave 😀⛰🥾
Great to see you back on the fells. I am in Ambleside in a couple of weeks and this looks a great walk to do before an evening in Keswick. The views look spectacular.
Really enjoyed this one, Neil. I reckon this paff might even be suitable for someone of advancing years and advancing arthritis (I might just give it a go). Thanks also, for the link to the excellent OS app thingy - a welcome addition to your already superlative channel. Atb.
We so enjoy taking these journeys with you. We will certainly try to follow this route when we come there next week! All our best, Shelley and Jeffrey
Thank you, both. Hope you have a great trip!

Congratulations! It’s a lovely little hill, that! The Lake District in miniature!

Fabulous as ever, thank you
Many thanks!

It's a lovely area - great campsites at Castlerigg, too.
Lovely walk.
Thank you!

Morning mountain chum glad to see you back, looking forward to this
Cheers!
Excellent content as always.
What a great way to make a short walk longer and more interesting.
I am looking forward to the next video.
Thank you - there's so much to explore in the Lakes, but it was good to get the stone circle in finally!

Thank you. It's definitely not too strenuous, but the views are nonetheless glorious. Let me know if you try it! All the best
Thank you - simply the best (although maybe even better without drone shots)
That's subjective, personally I like the drone content 😊
Thanks, Pete. Just trying to keep it interesting!
Thanks, Phil.
09:07 ❤👍
Love you so much lad
Thank you!
Nice video, the intro music well chills us out.
Talking of chills , no ice cream van on the road at the stone circle?
Thank you! No, no ice cream van! First time I've ever visited and it hasn't been there - maybe waiting for slightly warmer weather...
@LakeDistrictFilms I believe summer is on a Wednesday this year.
