The thing that sums up the whole song to me is that spiral staircase. It symbolizes the endless cycle of abuse and violence.

Another great song to check out Rens' vocal talents is 'Chalk Outlines' (a duet he did with Chinchilla), though be sure to do the live version if you do react to that, it is the better version, imo 👍
I never understand how it's missed, it's spelled out in front of everyone. I caught it it as soon as he said pregnant, it's a trilogy after all and had to remind the tale.

@@darkzer0670 I think to be fair, some reactors pause so much, and they are trying to think about what to say about the guitar playing, the rapping, the “all in one shot” aspect etc, by the end, I think they’re just overloaded. The human brain can only take on so much at a time before it stops processing some of the the things.

I love how the tales are so evocative and feel so detailed, but actually leave a lot to the imagination and for the viewer to bring their own interpretation.
Like - was Jenny a sex worker? “She knew these streets because she’d walked them about a thousand times” - and “street walker” is a euphemism for a sex worker. And, was Patrick out and the girlfriend busy because they were together (strongly hinted at in the Instagram videos of Screech).

I've heard this song 12+ times and seen this video 10 times, and every time he mentions their names, I get goosebumps, and my heart rate slows down..
The tales are like a heartwrenching movie with visuals that only exist in your own head. Ren is an amazing lyricist and manages to paint a painfully vivid picture. He is his own league 🙌🏻

You referred to (Dancing with the devil) by lmortal Technique which depicted the struggle of a young gang members rise into the street life ending with his participation in his own mothers abuse. Rens story goes deeper because he could have just told us Violet's tale but instead he takes you on an even longer and increasingly twisted experience as he explains all three of there tales individually. Both songs are exquisite in how they were delivered. Ren is a master of story telling for sure.Keep up the great work , I like the way you guys do your reactions. It's very authentic.

Ren can sing, rap, spoken word, poetry, act, write (musically and writing), direct, there is so much to him... I love all genres of music and listened to them all very much for over 30 years with a diverse group of backgrounds due to moving a lot. Ren is one of the most if not the most versatile artist the world has to offer right now.
Correct Violate is the mother who passes due to being to scared to respond and ignoring the enraged father who ends up in prison. Therefore the kids end up in separate foster parents house's. Without ever knowing it or meeting each other. The sister Jenny suffers the same fate as her mother by the brother(Screech/James) who is just like his father(Stevie)...
Yes, Ren can sing sing. Watch Ren/Chinchilla, Ren/Sam Tompkins and all of The Big Push staff. I love Ren and his gang.

Ive always have been a quiet person. When i was 2, i told my grandpa to move away from the tv because my favorite commercial was on. All live to..amazing. And bro I for one like hearing you break it down,it's all good. Another thing..I play guitar and can tell you rapping is very difficult while playing. Singing is hard enough but to have the rhythm to play and rap is extremely difficult. He's playing a nylon string guitar to which nobody does anymore. Those are for like spanish/classical music, very unique and original..love him.

Ren tells the stories and the filming of the stories are all done so well i found myself looking for the bodies laying on the ground. The saddest thing about this is the fact each of these things are happening in every country at this very moment and the cycle continues
You hit the nail on the head with the story. Don't be afraid to show more emotion if you feel it. If not thats ok too. Don't apologize for putting your thoughts out there either, its how we explore and grow as humans. All of Ren's stuff is fairly deep. Keep up the Ren ones please!

I absolutely love Ren and this trilogy is way up on my list of Ren greatness. I also loved watching you react to it. You nailed the undertones perfectly, the abuse repeating, the product of our environment and failed systems. There's so much great Ren out there! Part of me is sad that it took me 52 years to find him, but then part of me is so happy that it's all fresh to me right now and I have only just begun my journey into the rabbit hole.

I think Jenny was a sweet girl, she lived in Camden Town hence Ren saying she knew this town, she was wearing high heels because she dressed like Amy Winehouse who lived in Camden and Jenny walked the streets looking for all the graffiti’s dedicated to Amy which is all over Camden, On the statue in Camden Market of Amy she’s wearing high heels. I’ve done a vid about Jenny with all the evidence to prove this theory
