Yes I seem to realise what Sadguru is saying ..in one talk he spoke about Carnegie concentrating for just five minutes to create a template of what he wanted and imprinted it on his chitta of "unknowingness" ...when the mind is detached and ur being is in a state of blankness .
And now he speaks about initially an "unsettled" restless mind wanting to go some place ..any place and ends up being successful in earning lots of money by acquiring a Midas touch..all others are clapping at his success but hes not ..finding himself 'stuck" with something he dosent want . What he wants he does not know ...and this frustration is leading him on to travelling all over India in a bicycle of the mobike. .
Eventually ..he finds the key. He decides to do or think "Nothing" ..Nothing means no thoughts entering the mind ..So by remaining in this state ...which comes easy to him ...he inadvertently begins living in his chitta . This is when the key is in the lock. Next thing is he realises his calling in Life ..to Transform people by making them aware of their state of chitta..or their state of "non existence " or their own "shee wa " ( one that does not exist ) .
Now do you see the connection between Carnegie's state of 5 minute duration of concentration and Sadgutus ..not concentration but the prolonged state of nothingness . Both hit their state of chitta and by imprinting their desires "co- created" with the Universe to manifest in physical reality their desires .

Revered Sadhguru, your idea of everyone living in ecstatic state couldn't be achieved by you, is the biggest failure of yours. Okay. Suppose you would have succeeded in transforming all to stay in that state of tranquility/ ecstatic, what would have happened ? Do you think , once they attained that status of mind - dripping with ecstasy and bursting with happiness, would they like / agree to come out of it for anything in the world ? Naturally they would have preferred to stay in that ecstatic condition / status seamlessly, without any break. Then what would have happened to the World ? Have you seriously given any thought on this matter ? I doubt . World would have come to a grinding halt and whole population would have remained without any progression in new births taking place. As you always say earth would have flourished but without a trace of mankind.
Long , long back I read somewhere that in a lab , in an experiment, when a mouse was probed in it's brain at a perticular point, it used to get bursts of happiness. It ended in mouse's death, as it preferred getting probed in it's brain against having food which was kept right in front of it. It is said that experiment lasted for 3 days. For that long period mouse ignored food and went on getting probed for sheer happiness. Apart from this I would like to draw your attention to Tenali Rama episodes - 483 , 484 and 485, in which it is depicted very well about the results of day dreaming will be. Extremely sorry for my usage of the word day dreaming. But then it is observed that both have similarities, in a way. Please do take some time and watch those T V episodes, before forming any rigid opinions on the subject.
