Deputy Raylan Givens has his own, Wild West-style methods of upholding justice, putting him at odds with the criminals he hunts and with his bosses in the U.S. Marshals Service. And an incident prompts his reassignment to the Kentucky district where he grew up. The character is based on one created by author Elmore Leonard in several books and short stories.

Raylan's voice is such a relief to hear. I love hearing it.
When he confirms he was there, Raylan is tearing up his rage is so barely contained.
I like how Raylan waited until Doyle opened the car door before he told Jed they could go inside. He knows to protect people when it's needed.
Doyle is such a scary freakin character, just a homicidal sociopath who happens to be a police officer in the holler....
it's a great character study in approach; Doyle is aggression and intimidation while Raylan is forthright direction with a healthy dose of charm to soften the edge.
Remember well. The season 2 was quite intense. Dialogues were...like this one. Dont know why on this video they modified the colors. I had the dvd. The colors, brightness was different. More like in Real life
It's just Loki pretending to be Jed. Or God pretending to be Loki pretending to be Jed? These Justified / Supernatural crossover episodes are confusing.
Season 2 was the best!
Tv characters never asking "am i under arrest? Ok bye."
The cop wasn't trying to arrest him - he was there to kill him.
RICHARD SPEIGHT JR!!!
So he says, "I'm gonna' ask you to step back in the house". OK, he's telling us he's GOING to ask her. Then next moment, he says, "I'm not gonna' ask you again". Hell, he never asked her the first time - he just alerted her that he would, sometime in the future. Why does nobody ever point this out? Sheesh.
figures of speech
By that point in my home I would no longer be dealing with a member of law enforcement I would be dealing with a trespasser threatening my self and worse my family with doing egregious bodily harm to a degree so severe I would have just cause to be in fear for the lives of my family as well as myself and according to my inalienable rights of protecting myself and my family per the COTUS would take the steps necessary to protect both
Wow you’re such a badass, Dirty Harry
Ohhh Ohhh, Shiver me Timbers
The constitution doesn't protect you, it's people in the justice system that follow it that protect you, so good luck going against law enforcement and coming out on top
Which constitutional amendment covers punctuation? I've forgotten.
A lot of words to say that Doyle would've killed you before Raylan would've had a chance to save you.
