Based on Elmore Leonard’s novella “Fire in the Hole,” Justified was developed by Graham Yost and stars Timothy Olyphant as Deputy US Marshal Raylan Givens, a lawman who finds himself drawn back to his home state of Kentucky. In Justified’s final season, the long brimming conflict between Raylan and Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) will finally come to a head. The series co-stars Walton Goggins as ‘Boyd Crowder;’ Nick Searcy as ‘Chief Deputy Art Mullen;’ Jacob Pitts as ‘Deputy Marshal Tim Gutterson;’ Erica Tazel as ‘Deputy Marshal Rachel Brooks;’ Joelle Carter as ‘Ava Crowder;’ and Jere Burns as ‘Wynn Duffy.’ Yost wrote the pilot and serves as Executive Producer/Writer on the series. Executive Producers on the series include Carl Beverly, Sarah Timberman, Michael Dinner, Fred Golan, Dave Andron, Don Kurt, Taylor Elmore, Timothy Olyphant, and the late Elmore Leonard. Justified is produced by Sony Pictures Television and FX Productions.

"Don't eulogize the past 'til the future gets its turn."
Sweet line.
Boyd's full of them.
Aww supporting your own money. Cutie
"You want to get hit in the front you should've run toward me" Givens is one cold comedian.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
that's the clint eastwood in that character
The dialogue in Justified definitely has a Tarantino charm to it, though I daresay a little more poetic.
Best line ever.
@@The_guy_on_the_internet Good comp!
"I gotta admit there's a small part of me that's gonna miss this when it's over." Too true, Raylan. Too true.
That was Raylan speaking for all of us. But now Boyd is free & and we get a second spin off season (8th total) of Justified. Praise be.
Top10 Raylan saying
the chemistry between these two actors could fuel any show for as long as they like.
Hopefully we get lucky and we get at least 5 good seasons. I really hope they bring back others
Agreed, utterly. It's good enough, I entertained idle fantasies for a moment of an Agent 47/Ghoul Desperado encounter in the upcoming Fallout series.
@@CarrionCrow-tt9hl That would be EPIC!!!
Timothy Oliphant and Walton Goggins are the greatest modern western actors I've ever seen
Theyre in West Virginia, not the West!
@@TheBluesnbob Kentucky

@@TheBluesnbob Raylan is still the best modern cowboy ever conceived for television.
Show had some of the best dialogue of any show ever written.
Walton Goggins and Timothy O. are some of the best actors on TV.
It sure did.
"This is bullshit, you shot me in the back!"
"If you wanted to get hit in the front you should have run towards me"
Ice cold 👏
Yes. Why this was the only deeply entertaining show to come out in decades baffles me. It only makes the rest of All of TV suck 50 times worse. and yes the script was tipping my chair over. more Hilarious than whatever I'd heard in years. 👆🏻👆🏻👍🏻
@@harry2928 Ok that's a stretch. There have been some great TV shows the past 20 years.
How yes sir
"Do you even know when you're lying or is it just like blinkin'?" 🤣🤣
don't even care about Ty Walker... the conversation at the beginning between Boyd and Raylan is enough. Such chemistry, it's incredible.
Whenever they talk together it sounds like pure poetry. 😂
"What do you WANT Raylan? Leftover chicken, it's all been ET."
The repartee between these two is just something special to watch.
I love that line..”the chicken has been et”…lol😂
It's a reference to first season Raylan was invited to the Boyd household to eat fried Chicken. Raylan SHot Boyd It was suppose to be the end, but they liked Boyd so much, somehow, he survived. Boyd is telling Raylan, your not welcome. And like true Fashion, Ava spoils the whole thing and made a mess.
And people read the whole series wrong. Boyd is Raylan with one coin flip that flipped the wrong way. Raylan hates Boyd, because Boyd represent a piece of himself he hates. An Boyd tried to redeem himself, and Rayland just pushed him back down. The world kept treating Boyd as a criminal, he just decided migth as well go along, and Raylan was one of those who keeps thinking that way.
Remember. Boyd saved Raylans life repeatedly. Raylan on the other hand kept trying to kill Boyd. And Boyd took care of Raylan's father, while Raylan ignrored him at his greatest need.
@@slewone4905 yaaaaaaaaaaaawnnnnnnnnnnn..... Thanks. we saw the show and the chicken scene.
After all that rooster talk, a quiet, “He’s in the back.”
The absolute checkmate acknowledged like that is a thing of beauty.
Raylan didn't get to kill him in Deadwood. This was satisfying.
"You wanted to get hit in the front, you shoulda run towards me."
Heh, yup. I do like a pragmatic character
The dialogue. Goddamn sublime. Raylan and his comebacks. 😄
The writing on this show was second to none. I gotta research what the writers are working on now.
Justified: City Primeval, Silo, Longmire. Most of them are still doing good writing.
PS. If you never watched Longmire, it is really good.
" If you wanted to get hit in the front , you shoulda run towards me"...... 😂 Truer words were never spoken.
I trained the actor with the single action
The writing was so good, snappy, and erudite!
Some truly great dialogue. And so well delivered.
These two have the best chemistry.
I’ve been slowly going through all the episodes, and this series is so well done, you get hooked on the characters, both the good guys and the bad guys. Raylan trying his best to be a good lawman while dealing with his ghosts, while Boyd Crowder just gets into one situation of greed after another.
Almost can’t wait for the big confrontation between the two.
"Do you even know when you're lyin' anymore? Or is it just like blinkin'?"
"You wanna lean in for a kiss?" 😂😂😂😂😂😂
So many great lines in this scene!
if you wanted to get hit in the front you shoulda run toward me. My gosh I loved this series
What great dialog writing!
Never cease to amaze me how Raylan had the criminal jokers pegged where they were at and could get even Boyd and Ava to turn them in
And to end City Priemval with Raylan on a boat and the phone ringing about the escaped whale.
Dang! I can't believe he survived that... Lucky dude!
What a classic line!
😁
Love that show !!!
"Wanted to get hit in the front, should have run toward me." Love the line.
Loved this show
Two great characters
Seth Bullock got justice for Will Bill Hickok 😉
this is epic.
I love Justified and yet I couldn't make it to the end of City Primeval. The supporting characters of Justified was one of it's strengths whereas the supporting characters of City Primeval was one of it's glaring weaknesses.
I didn't watch it at all because I know from experience that you can't recapture that magic.
City Primeval was gross in the extreme.
As if Raylan would fall for that ugly woman. Just blackwashing and gaslighting the viewer.
the ending sets up boyd escaping and a possible season 2. the show wasnt good and the casting was terrible. raylans love interest wasnt believable. she was a 3 and he was only with 7 or 8s
The idea that Raylan would fall for that obese, angry black woman is just silly. @@vampirefox7
@@NR-rv8rz it would be unrealistic if it was a star wars movie. there is no world where those 2 would end up together
Simply the best
with the ending of city primevil, god i hope we get more of this show.
I really miss that series. Tim and Walt really outdid themselves!
Apparently the actors hated each other as people because they were so invested in their characters. That’s when you know it’s a great show.
Raylan and Boyd! Dexter and Doakes! Kirk and Khan!!! The great dynamic duos!! Raylan and Boyd had the best dialogues though!!!
Great Writing & Dialogue
This was such a great show. The "Deadwood" effect is strong in this one even though the two series are very different. I imagine any actor that was ever in Deadwood would have a hard time doing a show with weak dialogue.
It was so cool seeing Boyd escape from prison at the end of City Primeval. Can't wait to see Rayland and Boyd going at each other, one last time!!
If they go anywhere with that story! City Primeval had to get decent enough reviews for it to happen, and if you ask me, the final 20min of the show was the only really watchable part.
@@ComedyBros5fr
Spoiler alert
I'm really glad we got to see Boyd one more time in City Primeval. For me he is as important to the Justified series as Raylan and to have never known what he had been doing all these years would have really been disappointing.
Without a doubt the original series was one of the best series of all time. I can honestly say I watched every episode with deep interest in what's going on and that is very rare for me.
@ComedyBros5-yeah I’m w ya there, I didn’t even get past episode 2 of city primeval. It would’ve bee. So much easier if they set it back in Harlan 10 years later and show what happened after everything from the original series
Man I can’t wait for season 3
1 of the best comedy/drama. Deadwood was a starter kit for Raylan Givens. Boyd would have been Swearengen but Ian McShane nailed that role down.
Excellent
Gotta say, the man had a seriously hot wife
Raylan or Boyd...????
Personally I think they both had smoking hot wives 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I was scrolling for a comment about her fine assets. LOL
Ava became such a tragic character. I didn't like what they did with her at all. I know they were showing what happens when you go to the dark side, but the misery they dumped on her seemed way unfair. She really took the beatings others did not., but I suppose they could have just killed her off instead. And Joelle Carter is quite lovely.
Ty played a 1/3 cast in Deadwood
yes he did. He also was a Terminator.
LMAO ! AWESOME😂😂😂😂
Longmire and Justified need crossover where Givens fights Longmire.
In a fist fight I got Raylan. In a long drawn out gunfight I'm picking Walt.
Garrett Dillahunt just keeps getting sideways of Timothy Olyphant
I like Ty Walker character, he is a bad guy, on the wrong team, but an ancient soldier, in French we would say "un soldat perdu", once a fierce soldier, with courage and honour, but the war let him broke, broken, without a just cause. That how he ended.
FX seems to be doing a lot to make people remember Raylan was a badass once, unlike whoever that guy was in City Primeval.
Such a disappointing end for a very interesting villain. It’s one of my few nitpicks about Season 6. The villains were very underused, especially Choo Choo!!
but tbh there would haven been only one other outcome... him running towards raylan :)
@@-Ashram-I’m saying I wished it was a standoff. Or something more intriguing where he nearly gets the upper hand on Raylan
@@ComedyBros5While I agree , we did fortunately have a stand off with Boon at the end.
@@JR-bd6om Absolutely. But even then, I wish Boon got more screen time. He should’ve been in all of S6.
@@ComedyBros5 Wow, all you guys are nitpicking and whining to beat the band. Some people just ain't happy unless they're complaining about everything, including Justified? Dumbasses.
Just finished the new Detroit season, which was just horrible in comparison to the old seasons. Chemistry between Raylan and Boyd is one for the ages.
sadly even Justifed got woke. Sadly. New Justified not even close till the very very last scene.
They have a great Coen Brothers cadence to their exchanges.
It's the other way around. The Cohen Brothers are big fans of the author that created Raylan.
I so miss the dialogue of this show...never been anything else like the quality they produced with Justified.
I've liked that actor since No Country for Old Man and Burn Notice.
I recommend raising hope, he plays the dad of the mc, and he really funny, the show is from same person that did my name is earl, also love him as simon in burn notice
Funny, they were also in Deadwood together
Great writing. City Primeval didnt compare unfortunatly. Justified will always have a place in my heart :)
City Primeval, doesn't have Boyd Crowder.
I concur, the dialog of City Primeval was on quaaludes compared to Justified. I watched it all, but ultimately it was just meh.
@@roguecheddar It felt like the writers had a good idea and then execs told them to shoehorn in a romantic interest which ended up ruining the flow of the show.
@scottmatthew9605 The romantic interest would've been okay if the woman was half as hot as Ava or Wynona, or that blonde barkeep whose boyfriend Raylan shot with the beanbag shotgun ammo, but she wasn't even close to being that attractive or witty.
He shot the peacock.
The title says this is about Ty Walker, but Garret Dillahunt was barely in this. This was 90% Raylan and Boyd trading barbs.
Should have run toward me
All those KTCk 1310 am names used as character names that season made for a nice side joke / Easter egg
Jub Jub's Fun House. I don't even know anything about this show but I saw the name and I knew.
How many more series will we see those two tryin' to kill each other? Deadwood, Justified...
Boyd was my 2nd favorite character.
that's a myth about shooting someone in the back, in a gunfight there are no rules, now lying in wait and shooting someone is a different thing
After all the bs talk boyd gave up ol'boy!...🤑
Definitely my least favorite villains of the series. Though I think part of that was the point. They act tacticool and like they're pros at this only to entirely fall apart at basically every opportunity they have to prove they know how to be criminals.
This is explained in the show. They are very competent at being soldiers but this isn't soldier's work.
A new season with Boyd and Rayland would be great. That's what the fans want.
um..... Boyd is dead.......
@@csnide6702 No spoilers but watch City Primeval...😉

I've seen that beardo dude in other shows, can't recall which but he seems to always play the same character.
He played two completely different characters in Deadwood...
Thought that was the twitter dude
😂😂😂
He passed on that..for ...Wynona...why???
I keep wondering how long it took to write scenes like this. How many rough drafts and changes were made before the actors even got to read the lines.
Whoever dropped the ball on the spinoff left a pile of cash on the table
Killed mr W😂
I forgot how this TV show had the best lines in the business.....the only one that could ever rival it would be Breaking Bad.
I hate to see them try another series because those two characters deserve fat better writing than the people behind City Primeval could possible manage...
Shot him in the spine but his legs still work. Strange.
"Where are your balls at? Are you gonna pull off the job or am I gonna die of anticipation?"
"I'm here to find your balls."
"You're in love with my balls."
"My, sounds like a love story."
*COULD YOU NEED ANYMORE PROOF THAT THEY ARE QUINTESSENTIAL SHIP? RAYLAN♡BOYD FOR THE WIN!*
Wait so Boyd goes bad to good to bad again. Then I think he goes good again.
He;'s such a great character because he is complex, not one-dimensional good or bad. The best villains are also capable of doing good.
They never knew what to do with him. They completely reinvent the character every season. His individual scenes are good but his arc is nonsense.
Those dialogues are pure top notch pornography.
Why run to the farthest part of the woods
Ty Walkers chicken
Philo Farnsworth invented television to give us Raylan and Boyd's dialog. "Justified" was the last show I watched before going 100% Internet.
Hmmmm...spine shot and he's still moving...
Wasn’t much of a showdown. Two shots in the back. I mean he was “Justified”, but still…
Timothy Olyphant was excellent as Raylan but I think Garret Dillahunt could have done a great job as well. He is a really diverse actor and is excellent in everything he does.
I have forgotten. Did Boyd get the $100,000.00?
Ava was sooooo hot😍
Ugh if only City Primeval wasn't hot garbage.
#dialogue
This show was one of my very favourite series. The follow up series was very disappointing for me.
I don't know anything about Justified, but I liked this scene a lot better when the show was called Deadwood
Deadwood had no Boyd, thus making Justified better
They wanted to call this show Peckerwood, but thought Justified was more professional sounding.
