Supporting streamer's mostly. I haven't found designs I've liked enough to just outright buy them. I also consider that if I just buy something for the design, what's the history behind the design itself because if it's from something bad that I'm not aware of, I could potentially look bad on stream wearing it or it could be implying something that I wouldn't want if I had known.
Honestly, I'm going for it. Not even a big time streamer but it's super easy and you never know you have that one big fan who would like to support you and get something quality in return. This is great.
Currently transitioning from a casual hobby of a channel to a serious YT channel and I have binged just about every video. Will be using this in the near future. Thanks so much!
I set up a teespring store a few weeks back and finally decided to give the SE merch store a try and I have to say I love all the built in features so much, especially the ease of advertising it and the panels. They actually are a fairly high quality image if you just save the panel image so they work great to use as advertising panels on any other social media site or even if you want to use them in videos. My favorite part has to be just the ease of setting up multiple items using the same design and positioning the design. Teespring, is kind of a pain depending on your design to place logos and center them and the weird snapping thing it does with the logos when placing them is infuriating. Personally I'm going to continue using both just because I do like the range of merch you can actually design compared to where SE is at in these early stages, but once again SE is awesome and you can just pop in to the chat bot settings and modify your merch command to share both links with one command.
@@thejefe_ this is going on 4yrs ago. At the time they were decent, especially for what was available at the time. I still have my first test print shirts and they still look great. The artwork I used was all extremely high res with fine detail and they came out just as I had hoped. After that, I have no clue what they are up to as a company or what quality is like. With the current trends everywhere else I wouldn't doubt it's become absolute trash and even more of a money grab.
Right now I have to decide on either stream elements or Tee-spring. I was going to go with Tee-spring because of the RUclips integration and that it will preview the shirts under my videos and streams. Plus biggest selection (at least for now) until stream elements brings the rest of there catalog to RUclips. Would does everyone think. Do you guys think the alerts are that more valuable then the preview? Has anyone had both Tee-spring and Stream Elements shirts and can give a comparison?
I love how this video comes out the same day as I'm going to announce my SE merch store to my stream. Spend a few days working on a cool design and yeah, SEs merch is very much the best compared to everything else.
Hey Harris, thank you for making videos that help small stream fix their streams and make them better. It has helped me and I’m thankful that I found your videos.
Wow thank you for this video. I've been researching for a few weeks about the best place to start an eshop but I was unsatisfied. Instant selling ! Djeez, I just did this for fun, because you said it in this video....after an hour , few steady followers and fellow streamers already bought merch! Didn't expect it, they were even faster then I ordered some myself. First evenning, already 3 tshirts and 1 hoodie ordered , excluding my own order. Best tip by far ! Thanks
I bought some test shirts from Stream Elements. The package smells like glue when it arrives, and the actual print job was not great - there was a printer line through the logo. I may be spoiled because we have a good screen printing company, but these remind me of the old cafe press shirts. It's like an iron on. Curious if y'all setup shops if you are happy with the quality you wind up with. EDIT - The logo also prints out super high on the shirt and the fabric quality is poor. They don't use the fancy tri-blend stuff.
How do taxes work for the profits from this? Does the company send you paper work for it, or do you need to contact an accountant and have a separate bank account solely for merch sales to keep better track of what money's coming from where?
Hey Harris! Now that everyone is working from home, and webcam prices and just most normal equipment is either sold out or ridiculously priced , what are you able to suggest as either a temporary solution to not having something like a webcam?
The only merch that I have bought is a you tooz. I dont really like wearing things that have big logos on them. Some merch is nice, but it is all really expensive. I dont really know how to make people buy stuff that I wouldnt buy myself. Maybe I dont need to, but it is a really lucrative business. What are your thoughts?
Harris, your shirt link doesn't find your shirt. Has your excitement for this service dropped? I couldn't find any store with your name on it. Thanks for your videos.

I made stuff in my streamelements merch store but what has stopped people from buying from it is the shipping costs. I have a lot of fans in Canada (where I am) and tons in Europe. The shipping costs are pretty bad. If it wasn't for that I'd use it for sure, but I think I'm going to look at other options.
Does the position of the stand that holds the microphone matter? that is, so that the keyboard is not heard. Should I use a galactic or less galactic keyboard?
