I see this update get a lot of hate but personally I think it's great for mid-level players. Specially players who don't have a main and are learning to boss.
They hit the bullseye on this update 100% and I agree that it's weird to see maxed cb people on max gear complain it should "do more damage" or be "more punishing" when messing up mechanics.
@@indarkment01 Yeah absolutely, there's no incentive outside of the pet for them to be there. It's not a boss aimed at them. It's just supposed to be a NMZ replacement so people can gain a lot of combat exp while also learning basic pvm mechanics
Not only do I love it (I'm level 77) I find the xp rates wonderful and almost wish there was a couple more of these options to change between, I'll be killing a million of these I feel like

Yeah as a level 75 I’m having fun with him. I never killed any boss before so this is a nice intro for me - also don’t have any pets so maybe this can be an easier one
I went on my baby main and the amount of players in full torva, scythe, thralls and whatnot made it so o couldnt even register kills in the mass without a ruby bolt proc
Your issue with maxed players killing the boss is kind of obvious. People are going for the pet. As soon as the maxed players get their scurry they wont be doing the boss anymore and then the 60-90 cb bracket can go at it in mass worlds. I think they did an excellent job with scurrius and wish I had content like this when I was starting out. The whole point is to not be punishing its to show newer players who might not have pvm friends the very basics of prayer flicking, movement and dealing with minions while also not taking damage from the boss
Max hit is still like high 30s with the +10 hit right? You could be 100% right, maybe the boss is PERFECT And maybe the boss is Perfect where it is because you can stay forever?
Doesn't count as a slayer task for rats. And the Only time I'd go to this boss is if i'm boosting slayer points and I get a rat task. I got 5 kc. It was fun though

@@netdreamr shouldn't have to for a boss geared towards 60-90 to even get kc with cheese
thats TOUGH, hopefully pet hunters meta becomes private instance, so lower and med level players can enjoy the group aspect

I think attempting kills on a lvl 60 account could be beneficial before deciding it needs to do more dmg.. don’t forget lvl 60a can have like 50hp

disagree with the difficulty, it's there a practice pvm, would be cool if you could scale it somehow
