- This episode I go to Goodwill thrift store looking for items to flip online. I also am headed around the Las Vegas area to make some sales and see if my storage unit finds are authentic. I learn another secret from a Goodwill employee that will have me shopping more often.

Mikey, always look in the jewelry boxes! Thrifting with my hubby and he was at the back door when they brought a cart out and picked up a jewelry box, just like in this video. He brought it to me and said “you interested in this”….i grabbed it and it was heavy, taped shut…for $4.99, I took the chance. Inside you ask….Native American jewelry ($500+), about 20 pocket knives ($200+) and a ton of fashion jewelry (300+)…hubby was a newby, but he got hooked after that find!

I just went to my local Goodwill and found a Glassybaby for $3! I did a happy dance & fist pump right in the store. Been looking for one for almost 3 years and had about given up on sourcing at this Goodwill, but my reseller friend wanted to get out of the house, so I went with. Merrells were priced at $30 there today, so I passed. Keens, at $40, ugh! Those ties are awesome, but that price! Love the hat. I don't hate the idea of a booth with Sonny & Kari. The green & brown pottery planter above the right end of the chippy seashell pottery at 11:56 might have been vintage. That 4 star pottery was kind of cool, I probably would have snagged it. A storage unit for my inventory definitely cuts into my profits, but makes my life a whole lot easier and less cluttered.

Cool finds! Those prices are outrageous though. I started sourcing more at the local thrift stores in my area. Very thankful I have other spots that aren't jacking their prices up like GW has.

I had some off white trainers that I couldn't authenticate. So I listed them as men's faux leather trainers. Sold them for £25. Still made a profit and you don't get into trouble off ebay
