I would use quilt pieces as pillows
Lots of folks collect Girl Scout books- I almost cried when it was left behind. Yep, I was a Girl Scout.
The boy and girl, very nicely painted…Tole Painted. Im a tole artist and i would have painted the backs. Maybe they never got the chance to finish.
They would be adorable in a covered porch. ❤.

With that basket that had the frayed rough edge on top, I used to either use ribbon or cut up fabric strips and wind it through the top of the basket to make an edge. It covers the frayed broken top 🙂

The covered wagon reminds me of the pieces my dad’s great uncle made. I have them all now. There’s a covered wagon, a log cabin, a stagecoach, mules, etc. all hand made. They’re in my basement, but might be cool to dress up the log cabin for Christmas.

for the quilted placemats: instead of the small hoops, center a big hoop over the white middle, band tight, and leave the overflow still on. it will flare out with the majority of the blue piecework framing the hoop. the white center will be taunt. rub on a transfer there

Everything was so cute, wish I could have been there. I would have picked up the Care Bear, & the two wooden kids. Don't cut up the place mats they are cute just the way they are.
One thing that I hate to see is so many books at the bins. I love reading. Hate the idea of them in a land fill. Great trip though. ❤

Those hair products you passed up are expensive!. Those bottles are about $35 each if its the shampoo a little bit more for the conditioner. Im guilty of using that brand 😩
