The grading is awesome! I’m totally in love with it. Can you spare some tips to get something like this? It is sweet, melancholic, nostalgic and warm like a memory from a past youth
Thank you! Much of this look is baked into the camera. I used a .5 Promist Warm filter, as well as a Tiffen Variable ND stacked on top of one another to really soften/damped the footage. The grade came together nicely using BMPCC RAW in Davinci Resolve.
This is beautiful. I've been looking for a setup that would create this exact look and I'm so grateful that you've shared it. If you don't mind me asking, what were some of the exposure settings you chose?
I used a rig with a Vmount battery, purchased off Amazon. Small Rig I believe is the name of the company. I mounted the battery as far back on the rig as possible to give it more of a floating feel while operating. Other then that, making sure you walk heel to toe, and don't overgrip the camera while opping. If the camera want's to move right, let it move right....it should float, not feel forced.
Please which model I have to use on a Blackmagic 4k ? I mean a Sony Emount or MFT mount or a Canon EF mount? And what type of adapter you used? Thank you
Stunning work here Justin. Love the look and feel of the whole piece! Feels like the start of a feature - real True Detective feel to it.
Thank you!
Absolutely gorgeous footage.

Love it
Great job! 💯 🔥
Great shots and footage. Is it a Sirui 50mm or a 24mm MFT? If it's a 50mm then your pulling 75mm super 35?
It's the 50mm
nice work

I always underexpose by a stop or two. Seems easier to pull information out of the shadows in BRRAW than the highlights.
Awesome! What software did you use? I have a Sony FX3 for my vids :)
I used Davinci Resolve!
👌👌
shoot on 16:9 or anamorphic mode? I love your video
16X9 with the 1.3x desqueeze turned on.
Did you shoot in 4K or Anamorphic 2.8k mode?
4K with the 1.33x de-squeeze turned on.
@@Datboyvideo You are awesome thank you!
How did you manage to make this hand held look? Just by making your camera way heavier?

MFT mount.
I have the MFT mount. The lens mounts directly to camera.
Too much film grain but it looks nice!
Is there an adapter you use for the lens?
No, I bought the MFT version.
What filters did you use?
Pro Mist Warm.
how is this cinematic? my iPhone takes better video that this
