Thorough and easy to follow. Not recommended for beginner DIYs as this level assumes you know how to do some basic stuff already, but if you do this is quite well done. Thank you 🤙 got my 2011 Avalon straight.
Look at that floor jack , also car needs to be level to insure the fluid will be the right amount after you run the engine to warmup fluid and drain to proper level
Nice work. Just make sure the car is perfectly level when checking the fluid level. I couldn’t tell if yours was level or if one corner was still jacked up on a jack stand
Hello! When purging from the transmission cooler line, does the old oil stop running at some point by itself or at what point do you stop it? Also does removing the valve body to remove more dirty oil make a difference or no? I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks
does this procedure apply to a 2019 toyota rav4? I heard that using a wire to jump the OBD2 connection is important to do as well unless you use a temp scan tool.

6 speed ATF is relatively easy. Can you please show us how to do the 8-speed ATF filter change? It has a filter pan on tHe side, not a drop down pan like the 6 speed transmission has. Thank you.
for best and accurate filling procedures, check AMSOIL lookup website. www.amsoil.com/lookup/auto-and-light-truck/ and measure the oil you remove to make sure you’re not under-filing the transmission.
This is 2016 Toyota Aurion with U660E 6-speed transmission. If not mistaken, you have the same transmission as well(you need to confirm that). If you have U660E, the procedure is the same. You can inspect the oil, if you have metal shavings don’t flush the oil and try to change 1 quart every week. Then after 3 months you can change all the fluid without flushing. This is the procedure I use to be safe.
Would you do the same with engine oil well? Fluids must be changed at specific time based on the manufacturers. When it loses its viscosity over time you allowing more friction to happen and increase the wear of gears inside.

@ardie72 lol okay....i just dont have time to be doing all that bs using a thermometer etc. thats doing too much. drain the fluid cold measure what comes out and put the same amount of new cold fluid back in
I like it. Working in the street...get it done where you need to. Working into the night til it's done right. Nice.

So how you do the level?
I know how to do it but just wanted to know what’s your idea of doing it.always use the scanner for the temperature

Music was absolutely fire. 💯
nah, its trash
Best video so far on this. Ty guys so much about to do mine .
Please note...the bolts holding the filter are different lengths.Pay attention which one goes where.

👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Thank you my friend that was a well done video on this trans service. 🙏🏼
How did you determine the fluid temperature? Does it matter if it is hotter or cooler?
how many quarts of oil fluid you add? thanks great video
7 quarts
thank you
This was very helpful for me...thank you!!
Glad it was helpful!
I don’t think the dealer does this, they just flush out the system very good video
Glad these fellows are wearing the required open toed flip flops for safety
How many quarts come out with the filter change?
Very thorough procedure, thanks for sharing! I have the es350 Lexus and was definitely looking for something like this. 🙏🙏🙏

Until you see oil color change to cherry red, removing the valve body will not remove more oil nor dirt.
@@ahmedaltowaileb Thank you so much 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
How many liters of oil do I need for this procedure, thank you very much
@@marcosvillalba7639 I would say it’s best to have 8 quarts available.
40-45 Celsius which means the car is cold right? I mean the temperature gauge is cold
Muy bueno ,excelente 😅
In the UK cars have anti theft bot on the tryes, so that you can not remove tryes yourself.
Which gear oil i can use in Aurion 2008

To be honest, I have no idea about Rav4. Sorry.
Pretty much it does apply but u have to find your transmission cooler return line connect clear hose to it.

Hi,I would like to know how many ATF need for change like that?,thanks
Recently had to. Hanged the filter on ,y 10 year old transmission. Filter was restricting oil flow.
Good job young lads!
Hey friend what transmission is yours? I have a 2.5L 2010 Camry LE. Will the procedure be the same as yours? Thanks.
Also I have almost 90k miles on my Camry. Should I change the filter and fluid now? Will it hurt anything since I’ve never done it before.

Ahmed, does this method get all the old oil out?
From what I observed, yes it does

What about the bolts that the crossmemeber is covering?
you can get around with a Flex-Head Ratcheting Wrench
Since this trans had a dipstick originally can it be added and the overflow tube removed?
I have no idea honestly, but you can try
As long as your transmission works ok don’t do any fluid change.I did mine and now it has hard shift issues.
Would you do the same with engine oil well?
Fluids must be changed at specific time based on the manufacturers. When it loses its viscosity over time you allowing more friction to happen and increase the wear of gears inside.
There is huge difference between engine oil and transmission fluid.i change my engine oil very frequently
@@AftabAli-qp2qr do the same thing with the other lubricants as well, they need to be changed frequently. Over time they will lose viscosity.
Was it U660E transmission? What oil did you use?
You should drain pan(half the fluid) every 30k miles, then change filter at 100k. It best to use Toyota WS transmission fluid or equivalent.
Excellent video!
About how many quarts did you put back in? 4 quarts?
oil pan holds 4 quarts, if you are doing complete flush you will need 7 quarts.
