Great video....THANK YOU! It is AMAZING to me that we spend $1200 on a phone and then have to go through this process to get timely notifications. Shame on Android for that. Completely unacceptable.
Thanks for this solution. The doze on my S23 Ultra is extremely aggressive, starting up in just a few minutes of being idle. I often get Gmail notifications up to 10 minutes late. Hoping that this solves this issue until Samsung permanently fixes it.
this is the only solution which worked for me, it was on par with my iphone of course, a reboot will revert it so it needs to be done again this has been a known issue for Samsungs for ages, they never fixed it ...
Thank you so much, this worked! I had this issue a few years ago on my A10e, and now with my S23 plus. I tried everything but nothing worked. It's really a shame that Samsung and Android have not addressed this.
Thank you. I have had this issue on many Samsung devices and am so frustrated that this has been ongoing for some time. Your video helped tremendously!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. Finally fixed the issue I've been having with one of garage control app. Now it's on par with my iphone 12 pro max. Notifications arrives at the same time on both phones.
Great video...What Iphone did you show in the video? I have a much older andriod that this fix did not work for but if notifications work on Iphone maybe it is time to switch. What Iphone are you comparing it to in the video?
Great video..this was annoying me and samsung could not help..my notifications seem to work fine after doing this. Will this now ignore any of the optimised battery settings and sleeping apps? Just thinking can I still set apps to sleep that I don't need?
Hello bro, nice sharing, I have the same problem on my s24 ultra phone. Can I do the same thing on my phone? Will I experience any software problems because the model is different? Thank you.
gmail does not show up in NEVER SLEEPING APPS. Nevertheless thanks a lot man, I was sick of getting delayed notifications, almost thought to return the phone last week, but this "adb shell dumpsys deviceidle disable" was the key reason for sure about getting gmail emails like 10+ mins since receiving. Samsung really sucks otherwise honestly.
Thank you for the useful tips! It's looks like it is really the one existent solution to fix this issue But, generally, it's absolutely unacceptable when you are buying a new Galaxy for more than 1000$ and don't able to recieve your work emails in time. I love flaxibility of Android but with iPhones i nevere had such issues
@@munchy_cool sure will do, i surely know that most people sick of it . Bu just want to know this is about directly samsung or just google ? Where should we complain this issue ?
Yeah having this issue too, it's so annoying, I already read and replied, after few minutes or so when I put down my phone the notifications arrive which is stupid. Will try this solution, I never had this on a cheap phone/iphone.

Yes it will
Followed the step and disabled it but it did not fix my notification issue

yes you can do the same thing
Thank you bro, I tried it at night and the result is successful. I needed to keep track of emails for work. All my problems are solved.

To be able to see an app in "Never sleep" you should set "Optimized" in Settings / Apps / App / Battery / Optimized
Bro, I did what you said, when I restarted the phone, I looked at the developer options again and USB debugging was on.
Thank you for the useful tips!

I agree with you ....this is not acceptable at all
do we need to do this every update?
yes, every time the phone reboots
i want to know if we reboot the device should we do all these setps again or this is one time solution ?

@@munchy_cool is there any permanent solution ? It makes me crazy. I have tried all the way but can not find any permanent fixing.
nopes, there is none ....if you find one which survives a reboot let me know :D
@@munchy_cool sure will do, i surely know that most people sick of it . Bu just want to know this is about directly samsung or just google ? Where should we complain this issue ?
even though Doze is Android feature, its mostly Samsung being super aggressive in killing background apps
Wtf. I just bought this phone and this shouldn't be an issue but it is....
its a Samsung issue spread across multiple devices and its so frustrating that even their flagships have it ..

@@aldrinmarquez7136yep iPhone has no such issues and Android has a long time.
also happens on oppo btw, its doze mode causing it.. run by google
you have to execute that line after each reboot !!!
yes, its mentioned in the video
Wonder if this will help with youtube notifications? This is happening with youtube, but nothing else. So annoying!
will have to try
Inam facing delayed notifications in whatsapp and instagram s23 ultra
