    28:50 one more crucial tip that you missed if you really wanna shoot like khalid on bounce dribbles is tapping powerslide just before you shoot the ball, it makes a ton of difference in power. Also to really catch opponents offguard anticipating the timing of the shot, khalid usually doesn't let the ball bounce to the ground and wait for the powershot at the end, instead shoots it right before it hits the ground. Crazy tip if you wanna master it. The tighter turn, the more the power. Powersliding basically does that for you

      Its like when you Airroll flick a dribble, but the... centrifugal? centripetal? Force is from like the car making a yaw movement on the ground from powerslide

    I have been drilling merzty flicks (reverse 45) hard the last few weeks and I'm a visual person so i thought I'd share what I look for when practicing them. First, I like to try and get the very front of my car at right about halfway on the ball's circle. This gives you a consistent setup. Second, when doing the first jump, hold your stick to the right/left and slightly up. This will give you the correct car positioning in one motion and give the "cradling" effect. Words wont do it justice, but when you get this correct it will look incredibly smooth and almost like you'e attached to the ball. Second, the power from this flick comes from the opposite side fender hitting the ball, so if you're doing it on the left side the right front fender is what you need to focus on. It's incredibly important that there is some separation to allow your car to move around underneath without touching the ball, before you finish with your 2nd flip. If you watch replays, you want to see the contact being made anywhere from above your front tire, to the front corner, right where the hood angles down and becomes the fender. You''ll notice on attempts you don't have enough power its usually from hitting the ball too centered on your hood, or the front corner doesn't have that little bit of separation to gain speed.
    Sorry if this adds confusion for anyone, but it really helped me figure out how to hit these consistently and being able to do these well and quickly is almost a cheat code. They're extremely hard to save.

    Hey dude, just a piece of advice from someone who has a youtube channel: don't stress about the quality or about recording multiple takes. I still do it sometimes for my channel, but it always takes too much time and costs me too much in the end. The information you give is excellent, and that will stand on its own! Even if you don't demonstrate perfectly, you aren't cheating your viewers. The whole point of this is for us to learn how to get better, and showing us failed attempts is just as valuable, in my opinion. Awesome video, bro! Thanks for the lessons. I'll be practicing it.

    You should watch Kevpert's video on dodge control, he maybe could teach you a thing or two about pre-flip off the wall to catch the ball into an airdribble, just like what you tried but coudn't do. He diagonal flips or front slipd and cancels immediatly, so that the car is facing up with the ball on the nose. It looks incredibly smooth.

    It took me a while to make time to watch this during exams, ill follow up on some stuff from my opinion:
    Bounce dribbles are cracjed because of the whole system you can create around it, u can mix in shots, fakes, airdribbles, bumps, powerslide cuts and catches into flicks all while seeing your opponents. Thats why pros showcase them alot, since there is a whole system around them.
    33:30 Wall dashes does not use stick right/left. It uses airroll lef/right. That allows you to not recoil up or down the wall as much (thats what pros do)
    Ill edit this as i watche the video

    • @ibeachz9873
      @ibeachz9873  7 месяцев назад

      Bounce dribbles are good yes, but never explained the situations they are used, only USE BOUNCE DRIBBLES because easy! I rarely use them in 2s due to not having the time, but can be very nice in a 1v1. Also I love the stick for wall dashes, due to having full steering control going up or down the wall, it’s a preference, both work.

    In the power shooting advanced part you are switching a lot between ball cam and car cam. Is it needed or suggested for these kind of shots? For instance when we need to air roll to get good orientation to the ball...
    If it is too complex to answer here, maybe you could create a video covering the cam switching topic. When and how to use it correctly.

    • @ibeachz9873
      @ibeachz9873  7 месяцев назад

      Sorry for the late reply but I take off ball cam to line up the shot a bit better, you get more perspectives of the ball with the 2 different cameras so you can read it much sooner

    Kidding, great video. Glad i recently found your channel! Side note, what software gives you your controller overlay?
    Also, it may just be me, but I find the ball can react differently when you get your reset based on some buttons im pressing. If im holding brake when i get the reset, the ball seems to pop further from my car. If i hold powerslide when i get my reset, the ball seems to stay glued to my car.

    Your directional air roll section was almost great, except the part where you started talking about ARR uses the left side, or ARL uses right. Maybe that's how you like to use it but that's not true for either DAR. You can use the entire stick for either. You were on point when you said to see what the micro-adjustments do when holding down the air roll, instead of holding down tornado spins the whole time. You should also specify ARR uses clockwise stick spins, and ARL uses counter-clockwise spins, once you've figured out how the micro-adjustments work.

    I look forward to a follow up video on some of these mechanics as you keep working on them. I will say I’m not sure if it was purposeful but maybe next time when you upload a video like this that’s this long you could break up the recordings so you don’t get exhausted from doing it 3 hours straight and then just add the clips together to post.

      My goal was all in 1 sitting so people could see how you transition for mechanic to mechanic and how you use simple mechs in more difficult ones. But I think I didn’t communicate that well at all
