The way you coach is just different, I have never seen anyone else talk about stuff you do and also making it this clear to understand.

The difference between NA and EU is massive this genuinely looked like a mid plat game. Almost as if NA is seasons behind.

decided that after almost 20k hours on this game (i’ve had it since christmas 2015) that my rank doesn’t coincide with my hours put in so needed a reset. stumbled across you and the level you’re explaining and coaching things is impeccable, you’re next level man keep it up 💪

I got to champ in under a hundred hours in 21-22 and then took an almost two year long break and now I’m plat 3 😂

Coaching <3, this guys mechanics are like three levels above mine and he’s one rank up. As a normally ranked D2, I can instantly feel when I’m playing a D1 or D3 player. Also if you coached me today you would likely give me the same “go for demo’s” point. I see the “constant low boost” on 90% of my diamond team mates and I’m sure I could do better myself.

Im plat 3 on my main account and diamond 2 on an alt .. how?

I coached my irl friend he started off as a low gold within 1month he was diamond 3 low champ all I taught him was postioning and told him to just go in free play and be consistent on the what he’s trying to do with the ball and the car

Awesome tips in here.. i have very similar problems still at C2. I'm more mechanical than I am game smart. And a little bit carried by my teammate for sure. I play nasty defense and mediocre offense.

I peaked at C3 few years ago with my mates and now we barely get past C1 so far my mate is good at scoring I'm good at defending and the 3rd is... Just there. 😅 Rn we're just bad at Rotating yet when I bring it up they just say ahh we're just old and shit. (which is true)

Kinda late to this video, but what you said about no mechs road to ssl is absolute facts… “I wasn’t using mechs”, yeah but you were using 15.000 hours worth of game sense that the usual plat you are teaching doesn’t have… also most of them just use mechs acting like it’s nothing special getting a perfect ceiling pinch into a double tap

Does this info change at all between 2s and 3s? I'm playing 3s in prep for an esports season and was put onto you content and are wondering what you would suggest in terms of how to think about the game fundamentally and how much it changes when a third player is added.

Concepts from 20 years of soccer. Soccer is a game of creating and denying space. Offensive primary objects: 1. Score 2. Create space Defensive objectives 1. Contain ball 2. Deny space These in mind decision tree for 1st attacker (guy with ball) 1. shoot (be honest with yourself, do you have a decent shot? if so take it, every time) 2. If no shot, consider space. Do you have space? If so so take it. 3. When do you pass? When your team mate has more space than you do. 2nd attack (off ball players) 1. create space (demos, off ball movement to opposite side of the court from ball) Decision tree for defenders. 1st Defender (1st man from video) 1. Contain (jockey -> slow the play down for team) 2. Wait for mistake through containment (if you see a mistake.. tackle (challenge)) 3. If no mistake, wait for 2nd defender to be in position and force a tackle meant for your team mate to pickup. 2nd defender (off ball defenders) 1. Move into a position to challenge the ball after your team mate attempts a tackle (challenge). 2. Communicate to your team mate to take the tackle. 3. Wait for tackle and pickup the trash ball.
