A character like Narasaki would've thrived in the Y0-Y5 era. A huge, tough looking dude with cool weapons. The makings of a memorable boss/minor antagonist.
@@dogman3075I'd imagine it was. Most of Kiryu's sections in general when him and Ichi split feel very much like a typical Yakuza game. You stay in a Japanese city, the focus is on a Yakuza-esque organization, you've got the fight with chapter 12's boss, and even a climb up the Millennium Tower to fight someone shirtless. The final boss even has the usual back tattoo that we expect to get revealed from these fights.
@MarcoDiCesar That makes sense. I haven't finished the game yet, to be honest, but Kiryu's section is awesome so far. I'm surprised that I like the split so much.
Loved how earlier in the game you can inspect the furniture and pillars, I think its Saeko that asks why, and Kiryu says he’s looking for cover and weapons in case things happen, then later on in this fight he does exactly as he said
@@aerodynamo4874 An odachi would be much easier to source for these guys...plus if Sephiroth's Masamune existed in real life it would be horifically impractical: you'd be catching it on everything in the environment.
While I do like this song, I think it should be swapped with "Daymare". Sanctions feels like it'd fit better for story encounters while Daymare's more sinister tone fits the boss fights better imo.

That's a good point, I wonder if that's the intention since it's in Kiryu's section.

I really thought this dude was gonna be the Ishioda where you fight him multiple times during the game
Still can't believe that Narasaki has a dynamic intro while Kenmochi didn't have one.
they didn't give hayashi one in kiwami 2 even though he has the only memorable boss fight in the entire game outside of ryuji
@@william.9210shindo and two tigers boss fights are sick too
@@Ygfy90642 not on hayashi level sadly
Kenmochi was in a DLC for a spin-off, that's really not surprising
He got that absolutely fire QTE sequence tho
When you bring fists to a minigun and odachi fight.
And win
Saeko: omg who is he??
Kiryu: That man... is sanction
false, sanction is that one tiger guy in y4 who escapes prison

narasaki is most definitely a character
He was REALLY enjoying firing that mingun.
I mean, every yakuza game has goon boss fights, and at least he's memorable in how much of a dipshit he is.
Definitely one of the lieutenants of all time

narasaki's fight was one of the craziest in the series imo, dude just pulls out a minigun out of nowhere then drops down with a huge fucking odachi
Narasaki is just pure chaos.
"What do you want to bring as your weapons, Aniki?"
"Minigun and odachi."
"What?"
"YOU HEARD ME"
That was an odachi? I thought he brought out Sephiroth's fucking Masamune

One of the bosses of all time
Minigun was a last thing I expected him to use, but a huge ass katana on the other hand.
Nodachis are fucking huge. They're like the claymores of Japanese katanas
It's not an RGG story boss if they don't pull a katana from nowhere when they're losing lmao
I honestly thought Narasaki’s fight was kinda cool, even if he was just a simple throwaway bad guy
Yeah the Like a Dragon series has a history of dope throwaway bosses. Just look at Hayashi from Yakuza 2, he’s my favorite boss in that game honestly.
He’s definitely my character of all time

I agree with you for the most part, except for narasaki's fight, sanctions actually goes really well in this
