a few seconds into the first round and im already impressed by Justin's Sentinel vs Sentinel Air Footsies. 1:29, 1:33, and 1:37, his timing and buttons beat Clock's buttons 3 in a row.

Is Justin also talking about Sim tri jumps? Because to you use any of his best buttons (fierce, RH) you would need to go back to neutral to avoid drills. That could be an advantage for HB
I play on hitbox, I hold up after tri dash with sim to get low magneto level tri dash with sim otherwise I get empty tri dash.

The hitbox is a trade-off. As a hitbox user myself, it makes harder stuff more consistent, but some easier things stupid hard. Usually when a person chooses to use hitbox, its either a preference thing or at times hand pain. Someone's history of what games they come from can influence this preference as well. I play smash as well, a game where it's community actually COMPLAINS about these controllers being OP, so it kinda just outweighs having to play on several controllers for many people when they can just master the one controller across multiple games, ya know?

It’s because he’s on hit box and not arcade stick. Hit box isn’t good for marvel it’s better for games with not much movement and techniques like street fighter
@cooltron Completely wrong. If anything, it's input are potentially faster due to a button push rather than moving a lever.

@cooltron I saw. But after doing extensive research on it, it's only just Wong saying so, a player who admitted before he's not so good with hitbox. As oppose to magneto, clockwork, and other pros who said hitbox is fine with mvc2. Just do some research on it.

How come you guys don't use USA BIOSes/Settings?
My biggest gripe with this game is that they never remade the sprites from the older games. So couple of the X-Men: Children of the Atom characters were kind of OP because their sprites weren't updated to balance them out. A lot of characters from that game don't have much risk/reward to their moves so you can just spam things over and over.

Pretty sure they use Arcade emulation.
DC bootleg version with either Michael Jackson Soundtrack or 90's Rap soundtrack.
But honestly, I think most tournament uses either Naomi Emulation version(PC) or PS3/XB360 version.

Search up NullDC Bear and radmin. Imo its the best way to play marvel 2 and alot of other naomi/dreamcast fighting games online

Why can't Clock do Photon Array super w/ Doom?
There's no input leniency in this game. Unlike SFV and other games, they give you more leeway to input half-circles. Since clock is playing on hitbox he has to be VERY precise about hitting each direction. On joystick, its easier to feel out the half circle.

Dude! there’s got to be a glitch with Strider.. Every Strider user every now and then get screw with that grabbing hyper when you’re actually aiming for the spinning disc hyper..
It's because their inputs overlap. Orbs is qcf + punches, Ragnarok is dp + punches. If you do any special move like tiger or bird too quickly into orbs, Ragnarok super comes out instead.

That's the difference between fighting games back then, and games today. We learned to deal with the cheap shit instead of whining to the developers for nerfs. That wasn't even a THING back then! People get to complain until they change the game now? That's crazy to think about.

To this day I see no reason to use a hit box or cross up. I guess if you’re one of those weirdos that played on a keyboard then a mix box could work for you.
Even SFIV just seemed way less easy with a hit box. Then again I’ve barely used one so I’m not a great judge.

Arial rave is in the Japanese version of the game. He's playing the emulated Naomi arcade
with Doctor Doom's air combo you can combine his ulti but you don't have to air dash, you could actually wait half a second and do the ulti and it will put him above the character and you cast the whole ulti.
Compared to chaos gameplay....lol
