I only discovered Dracula orchids on Pinterest today. I like the way they send their spikes out of the base of the pot. I love all orchid but these are something I'd like to try and grow. Great informative video. Thank you.

Help please. Received a Dracula Simia for my birthday, Dec 13th and it is not doing well now. Water daily with distilled water. Have it with a cool humidifier running keeping the humidity between 80 and 90% and night temps around 65 - 69. Have it in a bright room no direct sunlight. Leaves, 2 new growths, fell over limp turning yellow mid left then falling off completely. When I receive this plant there were 5 leaves with browned off tips, but this seems to have been stopped with adding a humidifier.
Help, what am I doing wrong? Are there growing eyes on this type orchid from which a new plant will emerge?
    Any advice will be appreciated.
    Dee

Hi! first of all I am a huge huge fan of your videos. I collect all sort of plants. Your greenhouse has inspired me to aim higher! I saw a couple of weeks ago that you mentioned changing the valves for the foggers in a video. You installed them on the ceiling and it just looked like mist... like the fog you would get here in Colombia. what type of valves do you use? where can I get them? Can you point me in any direction? Thank you so much for all you show in your videos!

I live in missouri jeff, it stinks here when you want to get orchids, it used to not but sadly right before I got into orchids there was a fire right outside the caves the only orchid dealer grows his orchids in!

Hey Brad, did you know that if your masdevalias/ draculas flowers wilt at shows, you can just dip it in reverse osmosis or distilled water and it will perk up in no time!

Hi Brad. I purchased 20 or so Dracula Orchid seeds from an online shop a while back. Most germinated in a proper medium for orchids. They developed quite quickly, sprouting 2 leaves then 3 then 4, but some have only reached about 1" in height, whereas others are not even half that. It's odd that they started so well and then seem to come to a standstill in their development. It also bothers me that I'm unsure that they are the genuine article. They look nothing like yours, which has prompted me to write this. Is there any way to send a photo of them to you please ?
    Regards.
