I ordered 4 of these, and while waiting for them to be delivered from Home Depot, I watched your vid a couple of times. When I got them I thought they had sent me the wrong valves and hose connection. Turns out they updated those parts so it is even easier to install the valves. The only hard part was removing the old faucet. The nut holding the faucet would not nudge at all. Finally a a small needle nose vice grip made it move. I used teflon paste on the hot and cold water connections to the valves. Looks beautiful.
It's June 2022 and I am putting in my new Moen! Mine also needed the mastic for the faucet part! So, I have already learned a tip at 1:22 minutes into your video! Merci from Vancouver Island B.C.
@@measuretwicetv2281 I just finished up the faucets etc and I will have to do the p-trap next as the new sink doesn't line up to the old system. But that is ok. I will take it slow and follow along with your video on P- Traps!
Great video! Very clear and easy to follow. This should be the Moen instructional video! I had a marble vanity top and used clear silicone on the handles and faucet points where you used plumbers putty. Did you have any trouble getting the pivot rod / pop up to seal on yours so water didn’t drain when it was shut? I did put plumbers putty where the pop up meets the sink basin. Thanks again!
So, I was hoping you would show a tool/wrench that would allow you to install these faucet handles. I need to install these on an attached sink. You installed them with the sink unattached. Is that the only way or can these valves be installed with a sink attached to the wall?

Thank you sir!!!! Your video made my day. The amount of detail you have included in this video was perfect.
I love the clear simplicity of this video! Thank you for the valuable tips and good close-ups. Who knew plumber's putty was so useful?
You are very welcome! More videos to come!
Thank you, super clear and professionally done!
Thanks for the video. Very helpful. The Instructions from the box can be a bit confusing as they try to handle different models together. 5 stars
Great Video, especially installing the handles.
Well done, Sir! This helped me tremendously with my install. Thank you
They seem to "forget" those washers a lot ... mine didn't have one either
I wouldn't accept that. Call them

It’s pretty easy. Just take your time measuring before cutting.

Sure can. It’s just a matter of laying on your back in a cramped space. It’s a little more tedious but it can be done.
Basin wrench
Id still use tape or dooe on all supply lines...bcse why not?
Really good vid. Thank you.
Thanks, this was helpful!
What is the name of the tool used to tighten the spout screw?
It comes with the faucet.
Great video!
Fun
useless, who works on sink thats sitting on a bench
It’s a new installation not a replacement. Since when is free professional advice useless?
Would like the have your talk on how to install and adjust the drain plug and lift rod...
