    the tutorial was so good, ended up going to your etsy and buying the pattern to have on hand in text form! I've enjoyed making this a fair bit. I find with the slst in the centre of the leaves, only slipping off one as if you were going to do a sc, and then carefully slipping the other off to finish the slst (via either hook rotation or even using your fingers to manually complete the slst) made it a little easier. :)

    Thank you for this tutorial. I think I will fill my hanging basket enough, so I dont need to make dirt. If I dont add pearls to my hanging plant, I may add them to the "rope" that hangs the pot. Will possibly give it a more macrame look. Will see. What looks good in my mind, doesnt always come out when I go to make it. (These are continuing thoughts from my previous comments on the pearl or heart vine tutorial. Sorry.. Rubiks brain).

      I’m having the same issue. It’s just in subsequent hearts, though, not the first one because I use the magic circle.

      @wife2sp i did it the hard way because i didn't know what else to do 😭 so i made the hearts separately and then attached them to the "vine"

    Maybe for tutorials, you should use a flat colour yarn. The green/pink/white yarn was PERFECT for the look of the leafs , but definitely affected the ability to follow the tutorial

      Thanks for the feedback! I learned to avoid black yarn, now I'll definitely consider using a single color for future tutorials 🙂 thanks!

      Since the ch does count as a stitch, it’s 14 in total. Then I double it, again with the ch 3 counting as a stitch :)

    Hey - When i create my 2nd, 3rd and 4th leaf I end up with a huge whole in the middle and struggle to work out how to pull it closed. Not an issue with the first leaf

    • @vibrantknots
      @vibrantknots  7 месяцев назад +1

      No worries, that happened to me at first too. One thing I did to mend that is to tug on the chain gently once I've finished the first half of the first motif (the 3tr & 3 dc), which makes more space for the other half of the pattern. Don't tug too hard, just enough to adjust the placement of the tr and dc stitches. I hope this helps! :)

    • @idamuller7102
      @idamuller7102 Месяц назад

      I used to have the same problem, these things helped me :)
      1. Try and do really tight chains! Depending on the yarn I will use a hooksize smaller for the chains
      2. Pinch the chain space between your fingers while doing the stitches, so there is nothing pulling the chain bigger
      3. Use a less stretchy yarn, that honestly helped me the most
      Hope this helps
