It is the very model of soulless megacorporate town. Gated city of sterility, superiority and high-tech fascists surrounded by the diseased and enslaved poor. A perfect representation of Vault--Tec in the new future.
I'm just finishing up my first playthrough of Fo2 right now and I've gotta say this mix perfectly matches the militaristic "We're right, the world is wrong" mentality Vaultcity seems to have. They are way more aggressive than I would've anticipated.
I only got to play Fallout 2 this last year and these covers do it incredible justice, amazing work. They aren't just rearrangements but have added a lot of the emotion from the game itself to them.
Re-listening to this after another playthrough of half-life and it definitely feels like something that'd be right at home in that franchise too, good work :)
Sounds like part of the Hotline Miami soundtrack kinda.. which honestly after speaking to Lynette that's exactly what I felt like doing to the entire city.
absolutely amazing, appreciate the work. edit: to all the previous criticism "but this isn't not what Mark Morgan wanted boohoo" HEY take a listen what this individual just have uploaded and take a while to appreciate that for a minute? We all surely know the context.
This is a quite interesting remix. It sounds like a darker, more sinister version of the original. Like a "Dark Reprise" of the original All Clear Signal, or something that plays at night time in Vault City. It has less of the more "utopic-sounding" vibes of the original, like its what your hear when you realize the seedy underbelly of Vault City. The sonority is very good, like damn. Feels like it would fit perfectly in the game. Vault City Prevails, citizen, and so does this remix!
There should be. There are a scant few classic Fallout remixes around. Like this one by Another Alex: ruclips.net/video/xCtJylpA-7k/видео.html A guy named Pollux also made a remix of Arroyo's theme in his album called "Forced Evolutionary Virus" But yeah, this is pretty much it. Which should't because Classic Fallout Ambiental is awesome and we need WAAAY more remixes, so I'm glad Sky Moone is doing them.
I think you could do an awesome job with a Biggest Little City In The World, or California Revisted. Generally speaking you've done the best OG Fallout soundtrack remixes on the internet.
i cannot sell my covers, but i'd be happy to email you a file directly if you reach out on twitter, or my work email (skymoonemusic at gmail), but my original music is for sale on my bandcamp ❤️
Love the cover. I'm a big fan of Mark Morgan. Do I have your permission to use this cover in a short trailer for something? I'd cite you in the description
This is so fucking awesome. Really hope they hire you to remix some old school fallout tracks for the television series that’s coming up😎 (if they fuck it up I off myself)
Doesn't feel like Fallout 2 at all, too techno. It does feel like an amazing Command & Conquer music tho. It actually reminds me of the game "Time Commando" ost, from the futuristic levels
Vault City almost feels like how Vault Tec envisioned people rebuilding the Wasteland. They feel very by the books, almost to a fault.
With Shady Sands nuked, guess who is the Second best city to take its place as the new NCR capital ? :)
@@delta_d9091or they couldve moved to the divide (i hope they show the divide in the tv show)

i do think the original piece is fantastic ambience for vault city but this was my exact intent!
thin your paints guy!
this fucks so severely oh my god. it's a similar but distinctly different vibe than the original i love this
thank you!!!
It barely sounds like All Clear Signal anymore, but that's not a bad thing, this kicks ass!
It feels like a more evil Vault City, but the general population are messed up so, it fits better in a way.
More evil? It's already Xenophobic, how much more evil could it get?
@@colonelautumn5788 Well... non-xenophobic? 🤔
@@geg_otmopo3 Oh dear god. That would be absolutely terrifying.
@@colonelautumn5788 Even more xenophobic, Or maybe they drop that hole servant thing and adopt a more strict slave policy
I feel evil in my ass! XD

it sounds more like a half life song
lisa mixed with fallout? love it. love everything about the idea
This made me install Fallout 1 & 2 for a hot dose of nostalgia. Thank you for your amazing work!
this is GREAT.....awesome!!! thanks!!!!!
Absolute banger
Sounds like a combat version of original track. Love it!
is this track available for purchase or download anywhere?
if you send me an electronic mail at skymoonemusic at gmail, i can gladly send over an mp3 💜
This is a sick cover
so 90's it fits the era. Amazing
Got sent this, randomly, by a friend. Have to say, I dig it.
This slaps hard! I love it
wow this is so good i have this saved in a playlist now witch is something id never do with regular f02 soundtrack
goes so hard
Have you heard Timothy Cain’s ambient artist list for the ost inspiration? You seem to have plenty of great influences already.
i'll have to check it out! i'm sure there's some shared influence in there.
I really like covers that make the song feel radically different but somehow strangely familiar. Very good job.
NICE this is actually better than the original. High complement, that OST is GOAT'd. F'ing SICK.
Wonderful music. Looking forward to see more fallout ost covers
This is awesome, great work!
Sounds excellent 👍
You’ll NEVER hear a song like this in Bethesda Fallout
hella nice. really has its own unique feel. i dig it.
gives me heavy tiberian sun vibes, two of my favorite games combined!
I always wished Navarro had it's own theme and I think this might've fit it really well.
This kind of sounds like Fallout mixed with Vampire the Masquerade mixed with Red Alert and I am here for it
Absolutely bitchin'. It reminds me a lot of early TG. You did great on this cover!
I’ve heard my fair share of fallout remixes, mashups, whatever, but THIS. OH THIS FUCKS. HARD. 10/10
all i want is to make stuff that fucks. thanks for the love pardner 😎
This is great, keep up the good work
This is quite good. I like it! Hope you do more covers in the future
banging tune, would love to hear more
This is a kickass cover. I'd probably use this for a fight against Vault Tec robots.
Amazing stuff right there
I was right by the way. You did a great version of BLCITW. It's by far my favorite. If Mark Morgan had a child he was proud of? It'd be you.
When Caesar enters a racist Character in Fallout competion, but his oponent is the First shitizen
"My ancestor" 😮
(It's a dirty vault suit on a bleached skeleton)
I fucking love this

sounds like a cut hotline miami song. I love it!!
comparison to that wonderful soundtrack is high praise to me, many thanks!
@@skymoone You deserve all the praise dude.
If the classics ever get the remake treatment, they better have you on speed dial...
this sounds like something that should play on the oil rig
How you make this and not burn up the damn studio 🔥🔥🔥
I love it! thank you ❤️✨😤
youre a hit factory.
im from russhia your music very good. Thx for the cover!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This mix hits harder than a megaton bomb on a Vault-Tec Seal-N-Safe Vault Door Model No. 343
Either have citizen papers, a vault suit, or Fuck off! We got turrets and ammo!

You turned it into Frank Klepacki unreleased Tiberian sun track lmao
Damn this shit is fire!
if FO2 had seperate tracks for combat, this would be it
This one should be added for after the main quest when you decide to go back amd whack everyone there
sounds like an even more futuristic and dystopian version of Vault City
Awesome! Do Metallic Monks someday!

Gives me vibes of OG ratchet and clank music. Those indie tech beats are awesome.
The Valut City theme reminded me of Call of Duty Black Ops
Sounds like something out of Underrail
Sounds like Harkonnen are living in Vault City.
Most Awesome!
Upload to SoundCloud plz?
Oh f*ck! This is great!!!
it has more of C&C to it than Fallout overall I can imagine RTS Fallout with same gameplay as Red Alert 2. That'd be cool idea.
You play OBW? It's very funny mod of Hearts of Iron 4

Wasn’t too bad. I live to see another day
This sounds something more like from the game subterrania. I'm not saying it's bad, I'm just saying it doesn't sound that much like the original song.
Add some guitar, bigger drums and heavy vocals and you get a nice Nine Inch Nails inspired song
I really like this, then again i like the orginal too...wish this had the voice over in it...
sort of sounds like Quake 2
i take this as a generous comparison! love the drive that soundtrack has.
