Not to mention, an old merc with a metal plate in his head, a guy wearing an old vault suit, some scrawny teenager, a fat old trader, and a tribal with a bone through his nose, and a couple of dogs
An abino death claw, a cyberdog, a superhuman, a ghoul, several older wastelanders, some punk kid, a robobrain, and two tribal park their hovercar, and walk into a bar.
"Arroyo is at 150 miles from here, we got a half energy cell, 2 radway left, loose on sleep, and 3 stimpacks left and i using a 50 years old Vault suit while carring the G.E.C.K... LET'S HIT !!
This track is number one in my road trip playlist. Literally. Can't have it any other way. Thanks for this nice and personal rendition, this might be the first ever Mark Morgan cover I actually enjoy.
This honestly sounds like it could be a Midwestern rendition of MCH. The original had a desert wasteland vibe to it, wherein this one has a more rock/country feel to it. Like imagine fixing up an old Chrysalis Highwayman and taking it for a spin on the old I-55, imagining yourself as the Chosen One heading fresh out of the Den. Or you could even evade some hilbilly raiders tailing behind you with some old Pick-R-Up trucks and modified Flatbed trucks. But much like what everyone else posted, this is straight fire.
I could totally see this song playing in a Fallout set in the Midwest. Imagine a crew of car mechanics with their own Highwaymen’s cruising through the wasteland as this song plays while you ride along.
Dude holy crap I LOVE THIS! It's one of my all-time favorite tracks to just listen to while walking or going somewhere, and I daresay this cover is definitely something I'd listen to on repeat
This could be background music for a dealership interior if bethesda ever adds vehicles, or just background music for driving in general. Either way, this is really good!
This sounds like it belongs in Rimworld, honest to god. I mean yes it's fallout 2 don't get me wrong but WOW this sounds like a Rimworld track in the middle of a mega-desert biome where summer never ends. Amazing stuff.
The original song from fallout 2 had a much more desert vibe. It fit perfectly for California and Nevada. This sounds much more like driving through a post apocalyptic Wyoming.
You can really tell how you didn't use any auto tune in this track. And I love it. There's an authentic twang to your guitar and its strings that you just can't get when you use auto tune. Not saying autotune all bad though. There is a time and place for everything.
I've listened to this so many times, and keep coming back. It's inspired me to make my own version, and i'll comment here if/when I do. Great job. Could I ask what software you used to mix/make the drums etc, and is the bass a guitar or synthesized?
Hey! I'm doing a roleplay/ let's play in New Vegas, and I've seen you're fine with people using your covers as long as you're credited, but I wanted to ask myself.
most of what you hear is: 12 string guitar: epiphone PR 350-12 electric guitar: squier j mascis jazzmaster slide electric guitar: epiphone les paul special guitar processing: digitech rp500 bass: sx vintage series SPB57+/2TS drums and mixing/mastering done in ableton :)
it's been requested a couple times! my style and equipment have both improved considerably since i did this, so i would probably have to make a completely new version. i'm unsure if that would be weird or redundant? idk. it's definitely on my radar!!
This song plays in my head whenever i get into my piece of shit 01 Ranger Edit:Good news guys! Now i have a decent honda 09 Civic instead to drive while playing this!
Want more Fallout 2 soundtrack goodness?? Got ya "covered": ruclips.net/video/WKkjKsaWJT8/видео.html
Ha ha it's a pun el oh el.
This would go very nicely as the Main Menu music for Fallout: New Vegas.
So, an albino deathclaw, a cyberdog, a supermutant, a ghoul, and a robobrain walk into a bar...
Not to mention, an old merc with a metal plate in his head, a guy wearing an old vault suit, some scrawny teenager, a fat old trader, and a tribal with a bone through his nose, and a couple of dogs
The sheer number and diversity of the companions the Chosen One can recruit in FO2 is insane.
An abino death claw, a cyberdog, a superhuman, a ghoul, several older wastelanders, some punk kid, a robobrain, and two tribal park their hovercar, and walk into a bar.
The cyberdog passes under the bar while the Robobrain has a dent from hitting it and the Supermutant crushed it before the two tribals can get there.
Does it end the same was as it did for the germans?
This sounds like this would be the intro theme for a Fallout television series.
man i can imagine the intro: a desert ranger guy (with the armour from honest hearts) walking through the lonely roads of Arizona...
I hope that they don't fuck up the TV series like they did with Fallout 4's story
telly? not in this climate
@@monkeyhighlord4412 they actually confirmed that a fallout TV show is in production
@@Potato-pq5ez 4’s story was the worst
I legit used this as background music for a DnD desert campaign opening and it went down a treat.
One of the better moments in fallout series.

I would prefer cruising I-44 and maybe hittin' up 66 but I totally agree with ya
well i live on the east so after all my stuff is done here I would see the old capital.

It has a very similar composition to Rough Trail
I imagine the Man in Black shows up like the Mysterious Stranger does.
The original song from fallout 2 had a much more desert vibe. It fit perfectly for California and Nevada. This sounds much more like driving through a post apocalyptic Wyoming.
Listening on repeat my man, this is great !
Man...no matter how many times i hear this cover it never gets old. This should be the intro to a fallout tv show
This is fucking sick. I'm imagining a Plymouth road runner flying down an empty highway in the middle of Texas.
I have a Hot wheel that's a '70s roadrunner they call '70s wastelander I've never taken out of the package
Never in my life have I needed something so much and never known until I heard it. Talking about this cover ofcourse.
This is some great stuff, you did an awesome job.
That's a good cover there I tell you hwat
thank you fred durst, i did it all for the cookie

my favorites!
I absolutely love this one
Nice work, captures the original well
This sounds incredible, great job!
My man you gotta put this on Spotify! Please 🙏 it’s so good. I love instrumentals like this. Real Rockabilly and wasteland vibes.
this is fucking fire and ive only listened to this for a minute
I found this through the algorithm
youtube did good bringing me this
Awesome work!!
This is good.
Damn son that’s 🔥 🔥 🔥 sweet hot potato bing bang bong
what played on the infomercials on the car before the great war
This is fucking awesome
That little break at 1:01 would have been a cool spot for a kind of 'Arabic' snake charmer style solo
nice
Okay I'm using this one too 😂 and I'll credit you in my Fallout fan film. It's perfect because it takes place in Oklahoma
I love it!

Reminds me of my playroad in Fallout 2 is precious! Thank you ❤️✨😌
10/10. Would rock this while loading up my ride with ammo, booze and friends to go save our home.
This is BRILLIANT.
Great job
Bear or Bull, you gotta agree this is banger material right here.
Also Chad Nobark is the only reason I know this exists.

i make all my stuff in Ableton! the drums on this one were stock with the Suite version. Everything else was audio, including the bass.
this is brilliant

Could honestly see this as menu music for a new West Coast game.
Awesome cover for the best track in F2.
This kicks ass
Feels like Rimworld. Literally the first note that plays is the same as one of the Rimworld tracks
Cool
Wow.

Im making a post apoc student film for college and was wondering if i could use this?
yes! i just ask to be credited.
Ya know, i may be crazy but this kinda sorta, justa, little bit resembles STP's "Interstate Love Song".
Nice
Hi, is there somewhere I can purchase this and could I use it as a backing track for a video?
i cannot sell my covers but i'd be happy to email you a file directly if you reach out on twitter, and my original music is for sale on my bandcamp ❤️
I need more covers
