I was very disappointed by the fact that Ideology and Biotech didn't have their own soundtracks, except for the ending theme in Ideology (especially since Royalty had some incredible additions, like Fealty), so the soundtrack of Anomaly is just bliss. This one (at least to me) feels like the most interesting track in the new DLC. It's a mix of hopefulness, curiosity and optimism, intertwined with a subtle, alien, otherwordly vibe. Almost as if the soundtrack would say "There's something very sinister and incomprehensible going on on this planet, but we'll find a way. Through trial and error, we will understand it and find a way to save our planet from these horrors."
Yeah, just watch it closely, alright? I’ll go check out that new hole in the ground, there should be something interesting. Also, don’t touch my cube, seriously
This song feels like its own, condensed, Rimworld play through. The early bars with their almost playful sense of mystery and wonder giving way to the minor keys of toil and tragedy, the subtle mix of hope and hopelessness, the rhythmic plod as wooden planks become stone blocks, as hammers, chisels sweat and blood coalesce to form something greater than the sum of their parts, the feeling of being right their, looking at the alien sky of some distant planet that you somehow now call home. I know it's meant for Anomaly but for me, this song IS Rimworld
The world is falling apart by an evil archotech hyperintellegence, the gray flakes with ancient smell fall gently on your colony, as if the world itself is sick and dying. Twisted creatures and powers are among you... But there's no point in hiding inside your dining room and munch on nutrient paste until you run out of it. Do as you've been doing before: adapt, thrive and survive. And prepare for the unexpected.

Rimworld's OST has to be a clear inspiration of StarCraft's Terran music. I literally played SC1 and SC2's music while playing RimWorld and it still fits.

The "official" way to put in in the game is to buy the dlc, but if you have the music files from buying the soundtrack I believe that there is a workshop mod that allows custom music

that sphere hits harder than any raid i get. they arent strong enough to last the full duration so im usually stuck with 30 seconds of pure pain ...
