Jim Ladd (2005) interview with Stevie: Fall From Grace was a formal full-on poem…you know ‘maybe I worked this hard just to make sure you survive’…this was something.. and it doesn’t really matter, of course, I wrote that poem about Lindsey and Lindsey knows that and he doesn’t care. He loves being inspirational and he is and I am to him. So we laugh about that. So I write these really, really heavy poems. I think I wrote most of that when we were out on the road on The Dance.
Would rather she played Sorcerer, Trouble in Shangri-la, or Planets of the Universe from the same album... That said, this and Outside the Rain are the only interesting songs on her current set list. By contrast her last tour featured less toured gems; Moonlight, Belle Fleur, If you were my Love, New Orleans, Crying in the Night, Gold & Braid, Enchanted... Her current set list is her usual top 10 plus this less than great song, and a return to playing Outsie the Rain live.
A classic from her 2001 album “Trouble in Shangri-La”. Glad to see a song from that album make an appearance.
Such a high intensity song and Stevie nailed it!! ❤ hearing songs from RAL, OSOTM, SA & TISL.
Still that incredible voice
Damn, she did a great job with that one!!
I love this song and it rocks. I just wish it didn't replace Enchanted
I love this song. She didn’t sing it last year, so I’m looking forward to hearing it in a couple months here in Atlanta.
SAME but in Louisville.
