Bringing back memories.. Was only 15 going 16 when i fell in love with this song, this was released in June of 1997 and now im 38.. still one of my fave song! ❤️❤️❤️ 90's and early 2k songs are the best..
What a song! This is one heck of songwriting. Very beautiful 👌Totally mindblown and I love them eversince. They are exceptional in the '90s, 2000s and beyond
This was track 3 and the 1st single from 98 Degrees' 1st album "98 Degrees" and was the 4th song I learned by these 4 super cool guys and is my favorite. 98 Degrees, y'all rock! This is a real 1997 love song right here.
Im 57yrs old you Guys and I STILL LOVEEE 98 Degrees to this Day! 8 9 2021. Me & My 27yr old Daughter have been Hugeee Fans since she was Veryyy Young. So glad to see 97 Degrees Coming Back after all these Years!😊😊 A BIG HELL YEAH FROM WESTERN KY! ❤❤
i grew up without without phone without internet without Tv we only have 1 cassette and listening to this music 90’s band was the most amazing childhood
So i happened to hear this track after so many years 😂😂 such a throwback at a radio station...its amazing how you would sing along to such tracks without knowing the deeper meaning back then...this is nostalgic had even forgotten who had sung it 😂🤔 wow! how old am i ??
it's october 2016 and still listening to this. honestly I am still trapped to my 90's jam. all of the songs in my recent playlist are from 90's and early 2000's. nothing beats these songs.
Genald Navgado www.rosecrance 4 Dr.lachey Dr.McGraw Dr Ludwig got phone call from a sister name ( Teresa Ann Lindstrom's) wants to come visit Thursday but today is that day! the call was a ploy to make contact with me.what do do ? Just saw them in the My2K tour and they were still amazing. I'm 28 now and remember those days of TRL and having all of the boy band posters on my wall.
Omg I know. I had all my bedroom walls covered. If it wasn't weird, id put posters on my walls now but im 30 and a mom. So now I let my son put up posters in his room of Minecraft.
When I first heard this song in 3rd grade (I'm 9 yrs. old), I thought I was the only person in the world that could relate to it, and 98 degrees sang and wrote this song exclusively just for me. When I became a teenager I realize I was not alone and that's the beauty and power and music. Good times.
I rode a roller coaster once in Kings Island with Nick--He just happened to get on with Vanessa. LOL But used to love this group, great vocals and songs. What a good time to be young!
Just another awesome example of greatness of Gen X Boy Bands❤️High school wouldn't have been the same w/o them! Along w other great boy bands like NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, Az Yet, Boyz 2 Men NKOTB etc
Wtf we have different taste of music. So fuck off if u don't like them. I can like them for all I want. It's my own opinion. IF u dont like them, leave.
This music just gives you chills because you just knew how amazing these song were especially the lyrics. Artist weren’t afraid to tell people they were in love. Now today’s generation accepts cheating and being side pieces
Omgggg!!! Haven't heard this song in FOREVER!!!! I remember this song when it first came out in summer 1997 along w/ BSB "Quite Playing Games with My Heart." Good times!!!
Oh please...these guy's were not "just another boy-band", they were highly trained at a school for performing arts. Meaning they were taught and polished, which is very obvious in their confidence on stage!
What!!!!?? I always looked for this song when I was in middle school and I find it 25 years later.......crazy. I was 7 years when I heard this song playing on the radio when my aunt and my dad went with me on vacation. How were these guys not as big as Backstreet boys and Westlife??? Why????
36 and still listening. Me and my 8th grade boyfriend loved this song. We now have a baby girl but we aren't together at the moment. He has no idea what this song and him means to me.
missing my childhood days... when my mom still alive. when there's nothing that I cant afraid off. but now my dad too is gone.. listening this is song makes me reminiscing the sad and happy days of my young self.
Timeless classic, BRB, Nsinc, Westlife, 98 degrees my alll time fave boy band during the 90's. Been listening to this song when in my college yrs now im 44 oohh feel so old now
I can't express how much I miss the band 98° degrees. All of their songs made part of my life on high school, the parties, the so many times I felt in love with somebody lol Miss u guys ❤️☺️
98 always sung really great vocals. Their songs are full of soul with great lyrics. The other bands sounded like the little boys they were. 98 degrees sounded like men! Every song 98 did was vocal driven and didn't rely on that over-popped and over-engineered sound. 98 was the best as far as singing in my opinion.
They even dressed and presented themselves like men should. They’re built and fit and they don’t look over preened to the point that it looks like they spend more time in front of the mirror than a woman.
That’s because they were men, while the others were still boys. 98 degrees were all in their 20s in this video. They really were more for a mature audience, but this 10 year old still loved them.
Ladies and gentleman, this 7 year old comment is how not to be appreciative and respectful to talented artist. As much as I love Nick Lachey and Jeff Timmons, some of those little boys like JC Chasez and Brian Littrell were arguably better vocalist. NSYNC still had better harmonies than anything 98 Degrees produced.
This song rings so true. Sadly, and to my eternal shame, I was the girl who had eyes only for the wrong guy while the best choice was the invisible guy. Luckily, Mr. Invisible never gave up and stepped up when Mr. Wrong showed his true colors. Will always be grateful to this sweet man for his care and friendship. This song reminds me of him and what we've been througb together.
Ryan Chapman Not saying they are a rare specimen because they are white and I said soulful white boys for a funny, chill lol its a joke they are talented *rolls eyes* people over analyze too much. Yes I know white people can sing with a soulful voice blah bla blah.
Ahh, cut it out. She's merely saying that they sing in a style that's not so commonly sung by White singers, but by Black singers, and that's R&B. That's what made Tina Marie, Gino Vannelli, the Bee Gees, KC and the Sunshine Band, stand out. Most even said that they were inspired by black music artists. Aerosmith made their comeback when they did a revision of their hit classic, "Walk This Way" with legendary rap group, Run DMC. Hard Rock, Hip-Hop, and a Smash Hit.
This song brings back very specific memories of driving from Buffalo NY, to Jupiter Florida, by myself, to meet a girl I met on the Internet (i was 19, year was 1999 and using AOL instant messener.) I had this CD, and i played it basically the entire ride down there, along with NSYNC and Backstreet Boys lol. This was way before any dating apps. I took a real leap of faith (we both did.) We fell in love instantly and things worked out great (i stayed for 12 days.) We did a long distance relationship for about 2 years after we officially met. Stayed good friends until sometime in 2006 - reason why we stopped being friends: I had a kid in 2004, didn't tell her about it until almost 2 years later, and I guess didn't trust me anymore, and we haven't talked since... Jen, if you read this, i still think about you and really miss you.
Dang bro.. that’s something serious. Here is something we have in common. I’m from Buffalo, NY and now live in FL.. and there was also a Jen lol. Best of luck
Bro you gotta find her. I've been trying to find a guy I met off a Linkin Park message board from 2007. We were friends for such a long time. We lost contact but I've been trying to find him. He wanted me to move to Canada. I was 18. I should have moved. I am now 30 with an 8 year. I imagine my life would have been better if I had left
I hope you meet her again. I had a similar experience. Best time of my life. I still miss her. She lived in Louisiana and me in South Carolina and we just clicked instantly. I think I was supposed to meet her even if it wasnt forever.
June 2022.. searching my old self then I found this. Longing for those days when I only close my eyes while listening to songs like this. Boy bands, cassette tapes, chillin.. rewind and play those songs again.. growing old seems a great thing when I was a child.. but now I'm old enough to hold my life, it's not as happy as it seems.
My top 2 song in 1997. 90s kid here from the Philippines. born in 1983.❤❤❤❤🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭

44 in 2024. Remember buying the cassette when it came out. I miss being young
43 in 2024 and yes, the cassette....
@heatherm9878 but like many of us we couldn't relate to what was said until we experienced certain things in life
Me too.
I bought the CD 😅
Same here. Now, everything is on our phone
Second lock down here, enjoying this love song at middle of night.
I haven't heard this song I probably fifteen years. Still remember it almost word for word
Wow nick’s voice is deeper here. His voice matured in a very nice perfect way!
Nicks voice isn't the low voice
Most slept on 98° song....loved this
Whenever I listen to this song, I always remember Brent Damien and Maxine in Jonaxx's Invisible Man..
I love this song as much as I love that story..😍
Today's music can't the oldies, man! Those were the days
The ultimate "friendzoned" song 😂😂
I remember being played on the radio frequently how time runs fast man and here we are 2024
Such a surprisingly beautiful song!!❤😔👍🥃

Remember watching 90's videos only on MTV. Nostalgic. ☺️
98degrees love their voices love them with all my heart ...
14 when I first heard this song had no clue who they were but fell in love with them instantly
Grabe halos araw araw q to kinakanta until now.. 😁😊😍
This song brings back plenty of memories for me. I relate to this bop more than I care to admit.
98 degrees were some soulful white boys. I freaking loved them. There voices were so beautiful for a small group back then.
But she doesn't even know you're alive...
Get it? :D
Really, race shouldn't matter. It's music. I agree with your other point, though.
Ryan Chapman Not saying they are a rare specimen because they are white and I said soulful white boys for a funny, chill lol its a joke they are talented *rolls eyes* people over analyze too much. Yes I know white people can sing with a soulful voice blah bla blah.
They're touring again this year for their second Christmas album they released last year. They're gonna play the HITS
