How do you know when in HIS mind your dating turned into FWB and he's good with it. That frees HIM to come and go....
because when he pulls away it triggers and abandonment button in the back of women's brain...
it's fine that he needs to pull away ... the thing is that we (women) do not know if and when is he coming back and that is the painpoint.
At the start of the relationship (dating) you can;t ask the guy to reply to you but at some point you need to know he's coming back.
As long as I know he's coming back, it's ok. But you don;t know this at the start of the dating process where he can literally drop you for someone else because there's no commitment. Thus do not give him sex outside engagement/marriage.
Listening g to friend's could cause you to lose a good man. Especially if it's friends who have had bad relationship experiences.
I'm not dating yet but going by past experiences, if the guy pulls away it's usually because he scared of responsibility.
Isn't this an attachment style issue? Are both people securely attached?? If anxious and avoidant people, both probably need some healing to become secure.
