    Very similar setup here. K-Zero with pincer placard and admin pouch with pincer pistol pouch, six pack dangler, warfighter cumberbund, and an HRT mag pouch on the weak side cumberbund. I have the spear QDs on both sides as well. I do see your pincer pistol pouches have the bottom portion of the molle/pals tab hanging out, they are made to turn back up and run back into the bottom section of molle section, when you do, they are in there very solid and sucks the whole thing in tight to the section they’re mounted to. If you watch Agilite’s admin pouch how-to video, they show how to mount the pouches to the admin pouch (which is just a molle section).

      They didn't have the first spear tubes in stock whenever I ordered them. I think running one on your strong side is ideal. I'm probably just going to pony up the $25 or so to order them straight from first spear.
      Agilite does great videos on attaching their products. Their admin pouch looks very well thought out and the same with their 6 pack dangler. I'm awaiting for their dangler pouch, admin pouch and warfighter cummberbund in multicam to come back into stock.

      @@2amichaelj yeah, I got one first spear with the carrier directly from them, the other with the warfighter. BTW, if they are out of stuff, Botach sells their stuff too and have had what I needed when Agilite was out, unless there’s a sale from Agilite, Botach has lower prices than direct as well. I got everything but the carrier and one of the pistol pouches from Botach.

    Bro those are definitely Chinese plates, the reason it takes 2 weeks to get them is that’s how long it takes for them to airfreight them from china and slap their label on. They are not on the NIJ certified list

    How do you feel about belts with the molle on the inside? As far as your dump pouch, first spear is great and decent in price, but try mounting it behind and under one of your mag pouches. Really slick and opens up more space.

    Great video with very detailed explanation. I had a question on caliber. Im looking into longer range shooting, hunting and reloading. Could you suggest a caliber that would be good for all 3. Dont really want to waste time reloading multiple calibers and would rather build a stock of that type of ammunition. 308, 65 Creedmoor, or others. They remain somewhat affordable at this time. Also dont want to waste money on multiple rifles and optics id rather be shooting. Thank you.

      I also asked a friend who reloads and into long range shooting much more than me. He and I both agreed that 308 is a really great cartridge that does all that you're looking for. The benefit of 6.5 shooting flatter and a little further doesn't outweigh the cost, availability of parts and reloading components. He hits 6" steel at 800 and 1,000 with 308. While 6.5 and other wildcat cartridges are becoming more common and available, 308 is a NATO spec cartridge and you'll be able to find it easier and cheaper than almost any large caliber cartridge.
      I'm huge fan of 308 just because it's a well tested cartridge with a ton of data. It's widely available and used around the world. It can be used in a battle rifle with decent ballistics, used for hunting with a bolt action that can take down any four legged creature in the U.S., can easily be taken out to 1,000 with the right set up and dope and ammunition components will be cheaper and easier to find.
      Unless you have your heart set on trying a new cartridge for a specific purpose, I would stick with what's tried and true and that's 308.

      @2amichaelj thank you so much for the reply. I completely agree about sticking with NATO ammunition. I also feel the newer stuff could be a fad and also the first to go if manufacturers had to buckle and produce the basics. Do you have a rifle manufacturer that would suggest in a bolt action?
      Reloading is where im trending in 2024. Thank you again.

      I appreciate it brother. You're on track to where about I am. Suppressors are my main focus right now and then IR and NVGs are next for me.
      If you decide to post any information about it, I believe people's experience and knowledge is what truly is valuable. I'd check out your social media or posts as I want the most information available before sinking thousands more into kit.

    This is great kit brother, I bet you’d love my setup and gear. You’ve got all the details worked out too, patches, base pads? Etc. do you have any nods?

      No nods yet. I'm just dipping my toes into the NFA game.

    Who makes that plate/belt carrier rack?

    • @2amichaelj
      @2amichaelj  4 месяца назад +1

      Savior HAB rack. If you don't need the belt mount they make a MCB I think that's a little cheaper. You should be able to find them sub $100.
