    I know people have already pointed out to get real CAT TQs instead of cheapos, but something Id like to mention to everyone is you can buy a bunch of the cheapos for next to nothing in price and get a ton of practice in with them, saving the real ones for real scenarios

      Thanks for the comment! I absolutely agree! I have made that counter argument a few times towards some CAT TQ absolutists who comment!
      The cheap ones are a perfect training tool and a great back stock option in any rare instance where you may need many TQ"s onsite( for training or big emergency)

    I love Ranger Green! I have been adding some coyote brown to my Ranger green set up and they both work really well together.

      Thanks for the comment! Ranger Green is my 2nd favorite color! Wolf Grey recently took the #1 spot for me.
      I will take the advice and throw in some of my Coyote gear in my Plate carrier and see how it looks. I know some gear manufacturers use the coyote brown as a secondary color instead of black. Velocity Systems and a few others I know of do it. It is a cool contrast look with the 2 colors.

      @@TacticalNewbie101 You’re absolutely welcome and hopefully you like the way it looks. Keep up the awesome work! Also if you are looking for any different patches in the future I highly recommend “Tactical Freaky,” they make some of the best patches and they are all customizable.

    I have that same knife and hate how easily it opens when trying to pocket it. It sits in my closet and i rarely use it. Been using an old folder that has a manual lock on the handle that I got back in 2018. S&W Black Ops with a recurve drop point blade with no serrations. I would either find something with the clip on the opposite side so if blade opens, it's opening down not up or a knife with a locking mechanism that wont let the knife deploy unless you want it to.

    • @TacticalNewbie101
      @TacticalNewbie101  4 месяца назад +1

      Thanks for the comment and advice! Yea I definitely think I am going to move the pocket knife from its current location or just outright replace it.
      Jabbing myself while filming was eye opening because if I can do that when calmly filming a video I can only imagine how bad I could cut myself if ever in a mid to high stress environment.
      Thanks again!

    Hey man thanks for video and I understand about low budget, and at least you have tourniquets, know how to use them and they will work fine, people always say dont skimp on price, you can use a cheap belt if applied right. Again nice job on giving poor people options!

      Thanks for the comment and support! I truly appreciate it! I will indeed be making a Low Budget Update video for the PETAC GEAR V5 to drop sometime around mid June.
      I'm trying to schedule these update videos at or around the exact 1 year mark of when the Low Budget video initially premiered.

    If your looking to add a good ifaq to your kit look towars bear independent, nothing chinesium and profits go to a good cause
    I'm here watching as I need to decide on a color for a battle belt an move away from a black plate carrier and start getting area specific colors to add to my kit

    I must agree im very budget conscious, but TQ tourniquets (medical in general) are one of few things i wont skimp on. I work in cardiology center and see a large amount of bleeding snd how to stop it 😂

    Suggestion.. great videos but could use less movie clips. I don't see it adding any value and it's not great needing to skip that every few minutes. Great job with thud rest!

    • @TacticalNewbie101
      @TacticalNewbie101  3 месяца назад

      Thanks for the positive comment and constructive input! I agree and to be honest I am already considering as the channel grows to reduce movie clip filler and as my channel progresses lean more into other aspects of the tactical space (like prepping, training and real steel).
      I honestly only integrate it in my content because I am a big fan of movies and enjoy sharing some of the clips I truly find funny.
      I am making an honest attempt to slowly evolve the content into a more of an informative review channel and also make an effort to show first hand my growth (slow but steady) in the tactical realm.
      I still will likely keep a more light hearted vibe with the content in general but as I am now beginning to expand into the real steel area (content coming in the next month or so) I will likely shift my format some and maybe find another way to share my love for movies on the channel (separate watch and commentary segments).
      The RUclips algorithm can be very fickle with what content works and what does not so I will be slowly making adjustments mid to late 2024 and of course moving forward.
      Thanks again for the comment!

      Thanks for the comment! I would say it's almost a close 1st and 2nd place
      1st goes to Redemption Tactical
      2nd goes to Tacticon Armament
      But it is very very close. The Taction PC may take 1st as I build it out a bit more.

    Bro I'm 7:42 in. Good vid but... Alot of the stuff you have on this PC can be put in a pack... you have alot of extra junk as if you're going to be in this thing for months with no pack in sight. 70% of what you have on your PC should go. Pain meds cut down to 1 pack put the rest in a back glass breaker take out of the bag and put somewhere you can get to it easy if your mission set is such. Take the pocket knife of your rig bro lol I see this alot it's a "pocket knife" if you cut yourself once on it. It's too many times. Get rid of the crap in mag pouches that can go in a bag and reserve those spots to plus up on ammo 3 mags is a law enforcementthing. You don't need a multi tool kit set on your fighting load. Flashlight I would move away from the front. You will lose it doing the business trust me.

      Thanks for the comment and very constructive critique! I will take these recommendations into high consideration when evaluating my Loadout and making the necessary changes and adjustments over time.
      I do admit to being a bit of a gear nerd and will also admit that some of the stuff on the Loadout lacks any realistic SHTF application if things were ever to really get serious.
      Hopefully when I do another update later in the future it will better showcase some of the more realistic changes made.
      Thanks again for the constructive critique!

    • @Scope_Bite
      @Scope_Bite 4 месяца назад +2

      @@TacticalNewbie101 Absolutely brother, as a gear nerd also. These are lessons I've learned over time and just trying to pass on my knowledge. Keep in mind gear is something that changes mission to mission. Think of the show Seal Team or Lone Survivor. That show them prepping for the mission on the wooden table. Once everyone knows the mission and what role they have on that mission. The adjustments are made to gear and weapon systems. That's realistic I love to see that. Check out the SIG MCX videos by Sig for another good example. With that being said you can have a generic loadout that stays the same. I finished your video btw lol.
      I also wanted to tell you to get a actual ifak on your kit. Remember it's for YOU I didn't see anything in there that would be super effective in the MARCH algorithm. You can build one for a good price at North American Rescue. You're belt was alitte better IFAK but you may not always be taking your belt with you. Depending on whats going on. I recommend to build that up over time medical gear isn't sexy to buy so I get it.
      Tactical tip for you and those on a budget. Get a ifak insert from surplus. If you have the same pouch on your PC and your chest rig when you switch from one to the other just move over your ifak insert. So everything is the same. Us MARCH when setting up a IFAK.
      Also the back of your pack. The stuff back there is ment for the dude behind you in a stack. I would say keep it slick so you can wear a pack that has more utility then that flat pack attached to you. Dudes that have like that basically do CQB all day every day. I could talk about gear set up for hours so just try to keep it light and don't carry extra stuff you don't need bro.
