Curious if there’s a way to do a calculation to figure out what a 500’ hr would be with a wood bat. Great swing tho, not coming up thru the ball, swings down and level thru kinda like Giancarlo Stanton but with Bryce Harper body movement forward thru ball.
I’d like to take a minute to reflect on that ball that was lost……..😢It was a good ball to some like Jac and not so good to others but regardless ⚾️ keep flying and don’t come down just like the way you left

Throw in a powereful lower body and this is what you get. I've always wondered what kind of bombs Cags would be hitting if he could work out his upper body (still strong) similar to his lower body. Maybe we'll find out in a few years if pitching doesn't work out for him.
They're not using the old aluminum bats. These bats are built to resemble wooden bats. Doesn't matter, though, as Cags will be demolishing baseballs at the next level too.

Metal bats are so regulated at that level, that it is not much of an improvement over a wood bat. Obviously it still goes farther, but nothing nearly that drastic.

lol even the pitcher was looking out there, thinking, damn he hit that ball far! 😂
saw him play in Jacksonville. Imposing figure on the field, and incredible athlete. hope he stays healthy and has a long pro career.
looks like hes swinging a drop 10 bat. insane speed coming around on ball.
