He is missing in the episode. and they do search for him. after they end the search, mario goes for pizza, and Lou comes in instead, after he goes away, mario comes back
I saw a theory before about that. It was back at the '81 Donkey Kong game. The main character was Jumpman Mario, who were to save Pauline from Cranky Kong (he was the first DK), then, some time then, Jumpman and Pauline married each other. They had three kids. First, a girl, who was named Pauline II (or Jr) after her mother. Then it came the Mario Bros. But, because of the events of SMW2, they came a little late. Now, the rest, I don't know.
Nothing personal against anyone who supports this theory, but Jumpman is definitely Mario. Mario is consistently referenced as "Jumpman" in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Super Mario Odyssey, and more in ways that would make no sense if they were different people. Pauline never treats Mario like a son or brother in recent games, instead as a "friend", and specifically references getting kidnapped in the original Donkey Kong in Super Mario Odyssey. Kongs, like Cranky, Jr., and Tiny, are known to age really quickly. Furthermore, Shigeru Miyamoto and Yoshiaki Koizumi have both said in interviews that there is only one Mario. There are lots of fun Mario theories, but this one's pretty debunked.
@@CasualSunGod42 Well I got three things that proves this theory is right. In the GBA version of DKC2, Cranky mentions "whisking off maidens and throwing barrels seven days a week" back in his days. He was asserting that HE was the first DK before nowaday's DK. 2nd: As I just said above, the nowadays' Pauline is Pauline II, while the '81 DK's Pauline was her mother. Evidence: the difference of their styles. That first Pauline wears a pink dress, while the new Pauline wears a red dress. And 3rd: the fact Mario's franchise started in '85 makes this very accurate. So it's okay if you think this theory is very "debunked", but the facts are all there, so you can't deny it.
I've seen that too years ago and used to believe it but Odyssy debunks it as Pauline is in it and references the vents of Donkey Kong, thanking Mario again for saving her that day which wouldn't work if she were Pauline II
@@MrRuePine I agree with you that Cranky is the first DK (like I said, Kongs age weirdly quickly), but I don't think Pauline's dress shows that she has to be a different person? Toad's voice has changed, Daisy's hair has gotten shorter; the characters change over time. I think the line that really convinced me that Mario has to be Jumpman is a specific Super Mario Odyssey quote where Pauline says "Thanks for the chat. It's always nice to catch up with old friends." Why would she say this to someone who is either her son or her brother?
@@Zaya512 and @CasualSunGod42 Well, there wasn't JUST that one time where the first Pauline got captured. If you guys never played Mario VS DK 2 and the sequels of that game, Pauline II got captured too. By the nowadays' DK.
One thing I noticed was the yellow shirt and blue overalls from Mario's dad in the mini Mario story. The guy in the picture of the tray also wears them.
@Patrick Dixon Many of the stuff reference in this video isn't canon either. So we only have seen them in the Mario Movie therefore those are their parents wether you like it or not. Miyamoto was involved proving my point further.

Mario's father on the anime at 7:23 looks a lot like the character on the tray at 12:30, he's also using a pipe like the one in the comic does. While the depiction of the character has been inconsistent throughout these, I think I can get a good idea of who he is and what he looks like from the anime special, comic and tray. @@cactusjack7614 Let's not forget that Donkey Kong Jr is not a sequel to the Arcade game, if we're to believe Cranky is the OG DK and Mario is Jumpman's son (heck, the Donkey Kong Jr game said Mario kidnapped Jr's papa, not Jumpman), then Donkey Kong '94 is the prequel to Donkey Kong Jr, as Cranky has made elitist comments about gameplay and graphics, to the point of mentioning game loops which the Game Boy version never had; not to mention, the Kong in DK '94 wore a necktie.
After years we found out his parents
Love how you have "the great ace attorney" as your bg 💕 got good taste
Also concerning the picture on the wall at the end that shows the old man: he actually wears the same clothes as in the Special where Mario is 1 inch tall
11:45: *THE TRUE ORIGIN OF JOE BOB*
In the Super Mario Land 2 manga books, There’s a painting of Mario and Luigi’s parents in the castle. The late king and queen of Mario Land.
Noice
5:58 ok, Mario as a kid with a mustache is extremely overdoing a old joke
8:48 Hey Thomas this is actually Scott Joplin's The Entertainer Rag in the back! Im kinda bummed seeing in the desc just only say "ragtime performed by kevin" but its ok. I kinda like how you add some classical songs and songs from the old times since im a classical fan. Thanks for the video! I appreciate it.
I remember one part of my childhood, as a kid my family used to go to a BlockBuster to rent some movies and they always let my brother and I to choose one VHS to rent. And me and my brother always go and rent the literal same Super Mario Bros Super Show VHS each time lol. I just remember this when you talked about the Super Mario Bros Super Show, thanks for unlocking me nice memories
7:32 Well OBVIOUSLY he took a mini mushroom.
8:40 fun fact, in one episode of super mario bros super show, he playes as himself
SPOILER ALERT
its Captain Lou is missing episode. He is missing in the episode. and they do search for him. after they end the search, mario goes for pizza, and Lou comes in instead, after he goes away, mario comes back

SPOILER FOR SUPER MARIO BROS MOVIE
Well in the Mario Movie we actually get to see their parents
9:34 she's got a moustache
I’m always a sucker for some sweet Mario lore
5:08 We can see her hair though. They Definitely didn't get the color from her.
Well fun fact, they do have parents,in movie
In my headcanon, Wario and Waluigi are Mario and Luigi's cousins.
You know finding out who Mario's parents are doesn't sound like a bad idea for the movie
Just like Hey Arnold Jungle Movie
The Mario's Early Years thing was... extremely cursed.
Well after the Mario Movie this video is officially obsolete.
No.
@@patrickdixon7202 Yes
@@arminarlert7273 Not even canon.
@Patrick Dixon Many of the stuff reference in this video isn't canon either. So we only have seen them in the Mario Movie therefore those are their parents wether you like it or not. Miyamoto was involved proving my point further.
11:35 actually they should be spelled Luigina and Marianna.

HAAAAAAAAAAAhahahahahaaaa!!!!!! XD 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I would love to see an confirmation that Jump man is Mario's father and Pauline his mother
@@scratchsoft2347 yah i know, if you watch the game theory mario timeline you will find some nices theories sbout jumpman and dk jr (I don't belive in the entire timeline but it's nice to watch)
I thought Mario was jump man?
@@scratchsoft2347 Why would Pauline be with Pario in the Mario vs Donkey Kong games? That would mean that he would have to know Pauline, So I don't think Jump man is Mario's father.

My idea is that he was probably a plumber like Mario, and wore overalls most of the time, although he sometimes just wore regular clothes when he had a day off, like a lot of plumbers, he also seem to have smoked.
Hi are you available for a meeting
12:36 thats his father because he has the outfit that mario's father had at 7:18 and at 5:26
12:40 He notably seems to have the same color scheme as Mario's father from the Issunboshi Mash-Up.
