1 year later and you can get this $200k house for $350k in a less desirable neighborhood! Just don't give them any earnest money until you already have finance numbers finalized. They'll tell you that you can afford it no matter what, take that earnest money and run.

Hi Smita, thanks for watching! The school district is Crowley ISD. There are quite a few different sites you can find the school ratings on. I do know that the district has been dumping a ton of money into the schools over the last 2 years and remodeled the elementary by this exact neighborhood!

Most of the houses here are in the millions but there are older ones (1994- 2002 built) that are smaller. Its crazy to think how all of the homes around me were built after 2000!! As a military veteran, you can speak with a mortgage lender and they can get all the paperwork from you to put together a VA loan for you that requires 0% down. Also, in Texas, if you have 100% military disability, you can also qualify to have 0 property taxes which can save you a ton of money every month!

I don't get the builders not every parents have baby kids no more even with the kids toys parent need bigger closet space for kids! Kids that in high school need a walk in closet, i think walk in closet should be in the second bed room as well. it a nice house but the closet should be a little bigger in all bedroom. also agent need to show all closet space on these videos!!

Proces have definitely changed since then! There are still really great down payment assistance programs available now though!
