  • Just pick this FENWICK PFLUEGER 4 Piece Fly Rod and Reel combo from Costco. 6 WT Weight forward Floating Line. Using a #16 Black Flying Ant imitation. So far very happy with this Rod. Paid $89.99 at my local Costco. Needed this because my previous Rod broke. Very smooth casting, great feel, can cast good distance with ease

Nice job and fun video.... I envy you your fishing companion... My red tricolor Aussie passed away a few years ago... You don't know how hard it is for those guys not to jump in and want to help you in what you're doing.. well-trained dog. I just picked one of these lots up at a yard sale for around $50 ..seemed almost new in the box...maybe with a few casts on it,,, but complete. Can't wait for the snow to melt off here in the Rockies to take it out and give it a shot... Nice job!!

Clint Johnson Thanks man, yeah old boss dog is a fishing fanatic, I’ll post some ice fishing videos one these days, he just stares so intently at the hole waiting for that fish to come up, you can’t break his focus. Some people think I’m being mean, but he gets so focused on it you have to get loud and Maybe, you actually break the spell lol. He is a very well cared for and we spoil him every day with love, playtime, treats and toys. Peace!

Would you still recommend this rod/reel for a beginner? I saw you broke it but sounds like you liked it up until that point?

Parker Stevens breaking was my fault, my topper came down on it, but yes for beginner or someone whom only uses a few times a year. Not sure about their customer service, sent them an email a while back and haven’t heard back

The Happy Hour Hound The Happy Hour Hound well it’s a good kit and excellent starter kit for under a hundred dollars for sure, I wouldn’t tell you it’s the best because I haven’t tried other brands and that would be disingenuous of me.

Fenwick Black Night Hawk BNHS90MH-2 what can you say about him?

Roberto Baggio who would Him be? As far as FENWICK, I actually broke the Rod in the Video, my fault 100%, My Topper window blew shut and crushed it, but FENWICK claims they will replace at a discounted price, sent 2 emails. They have not responded. Perhaps I need to call, but emailed them Direct from their web site, so customer service may be an issue with them

I don’t treat my dog like “a” ass, I treat him like a dog.

I like your reply to this ass. My dog gives me the same look when I tell him he can't do what he wants to do wish I was there fishing with you.
