It does! I had to test after recording, the reason we dont see any sofar is probably because the town is just really tiny so far with realistic population mod turned on. I really like this approach. I have only just started playing Cities Skylines and I don't particularly enjoy the feeling of always being pushed towards the creation of some vast sprawling metropolis. The painstaking attention to the placement of every building makes it feel very personal. The town is far more realistic and natural, because it has been developed with purpose. Excellent work! Also, (take it from me, I work in radio) don’t worry about your voice overs. They are totally fine. Nobody has any idea what they are doing with that stuff until they just start doing it!!!!

I literally had no idea! Im so happy because i can talk for ages about this stuff and recording + editing isnt nearly as bad as i thought before. I guess thats why they say you just have to try it
I can't seem to build anything on vanilla maps, and I think it's because of too much space. That's what I love about your maps and cities. They always feel just right. I need to take some notes from you 😅
I think way too much about framing my builds to limit them so they dont have to spann an endless expanse to feel complete! Mountains, hills, lakes, and oceans are your friend in this regard! 😊
i'm interested in simple ways to get good enough graphics, right now i'm using vanilla theme and LUT with just "play it" to change the latitudes and i think is almost good enough
I like the "Small Steps" right out of the gate. I've recently decided to force myself into taking my time and not to worry about getting a ton of stuff built. Just relax and enjoy my more focused attempts to make nice looking cities.
Small steps and limiting scope is just such an incrediby underrated way to play the game in my opinion! So far Im absolutely loving the progression up the valley. 10/10 would recommend everybody to try it atleast once!

I love the build, to my surprise, this video appeared in my YT feed. I saw your post earlier on IG. Keep up the great work.
This looks very HOT and european
in french we don't say millau but meo ;)
I think the timelapse could be faster, I personally really like akruas's build videos
Noted, thanks for the feedback!
Loved this video.... The background music was pretty distracting tho
👌
Teddy you absolute beast. I love your maps happy to have found this series. I’m probably about to start a train-only start of your map deleting all the highways (OTHER THAN THE VIADUCT OF COURSE!!!!) and only connecting to highways much later.
Also, (take it from me, I work in radio) don’t worry about your voice overs. They are totally fine. Nobody has any idea what they are doing with that stuff until they just start doing it!!!!
@@alexsmith6322 thanks alex :) i have suggestion. What if you converted the viaduct and highway to a tgv high speed rail line? 😅
How can you place house's so close to train tracks and the train station without them being sick all the time?
Infrequent trains? Speed restrictions through town? close to the station anyway? So many possibilities. Can find a million examples of this sort of stuff irl so its not unrealistic, just a bit unpleasant
in the case of city names, I propose the name Dilf Central for your consideration
Dilf would symbolize something about you the creator of the city, because of your calmness and beauty onto an otherwise chaotic dating scene. Its not a perfect name but I though it seemed fitting,
I wonder if we can download a savegame from steam workshop and play it in PS5?
Unfortunately i dont think so 😪
amazing video hopefully this would also happen in cs2, also this map is giving some de javu on conflictnerd
the game should have village cenarios
It really should!
I was just searching "Cities Skylines Millau Viaduct" to see if anyone dared to recreate it. And then I found a WHOLE series about that town.
what are the chances! The internet is still full of surprises it seems :)
@@TeddyRadko Indeed (:
This map is great, makes me think about German Moselle region as well. Maybe even gonna play one last game of CS1 on this beautiful map ❤
the bridge is really beautiful, it is quite similar to the Pelješka bridge in Croatia.
Interesting,will google it!
this map just wonderful! tnx for it, i will try it myself after your video!
Thanks, that makes me happy to hear, have fun on the map!
Je pense que contemplation serait parfait comme nom!
Hey teddy you still installing all mods as local add ons? 😉👷♂️
Not anymore haha, i gave up
Very inspiring start to a map and your reasons for sharing this. Can't wait to see more!
Thanks Darren! Im super excited about finally doing this and doing this my way but it really means alot and motivates me that youre enjoying it so far!
I thought it was gonna be pronounced meow
Liked and subscribed, looking forward to following along the build. Great looking hamlet to start off with.
Really enjoyable. Thanks for talking through it.
thanks! Im so happy you enjoyed it. Reading comments like this makes my day every time
Such a beautiful map ❤ you probably need to slow down your camera movement, otherwise love it.
Noted, this is something i know i want to improve on, you are so right!
@@TeddyRadko I think you will do fine 😊
Send me a picture of your audio set up, I can help you out with that if you want. Nice build mate, welcome to the gang 😎
Like on software or my microphone? Im kinda anxious i have alot of half assed bodged solutions goin on with that i fear 😅
@@TeddyRadko ahahaha your microphone and stuff, don't worry I've had my share of Frankensteins, I'm sure we can handle it xD
I'm so thrilled you're doing this! 🍿🍿🍿🍿
Thanks so much Michele! I am so excited also! 🍿🍿
Really enjoyed the video, loved the build and actually really drawn into the voice over, nice calm, relaxing video mate, good job, looking forward to next episode.
Thanks so much Max! Really appreciate it and i cant wait for next ones also! Ive been waiting so long to share something like this and this amazing reception and your kind words is so incredibly motivating!
graphic settings tutorial please🙂
Ive been here on vacation for a couple years, its so fun to see this.
one day im going to have to go myself with how much ive obsessed over this map.
@@TeddyRadko id recommend going camping across the river in millau. Might as well get the whole experience.
Your a new builder to me, I've followed CS for many years as well.......how have you only got 3k subs with this quality of build? 😮😮😮
Looks great and I await the next one. 👍🏻
Thanks alot, I think its that im now actually creating the kind of content that people seem to enjoy and have been waiting for, i had no idea this was gonna be so popular but im excited to have all the new friends along for it!
The map is amazing!!!!! If it only didn’t need also a dlc I could play it :( but pls keep considering doing more maps like this, it’s truly a masterpiece IMO
Im not done with cs1 maps just yet 😉
glad i stumbled across this channel, you got urself new subscriber, love the way you build ;)
don't worry about the voice over, it's always better than just music, and this way we kinda get to know you :)
Less is more graphics could be a good topic, ive been wanting to do a video like that for a long time also!
Dude, don't stop being you. Appreciate the video. 29:06
Me : put squares and and add houses.
So much work on one map amazing
