I backed Be The Difference on his last time out form.He hadn't won for nearly 3 years and Shay was only having his second ride over hurdles but he'd recently ridden winners in 2 PTP's and he rides him every day at home. He's very keen and the instructions were to give him his head and let him go.Worked a treat.Job well done.Congrats to all connections at their local track 👏
Well done & well dug out m8! 👏 Al bet as he jumped the last & the few In behind that had rapidly reduced the gap & were closing & finishing the race so well u had a few seconds worry eh? 😂 U know urself horses that have bn out in front for so long can often go from hero to zero in a heartbeat but it turned out to be a great ride & the instructions were absolutely spot on, the jockey carried them out like a dream! 👏💯👍🎉🤝
Reminds me of the first time i saw Tingle Creek in the early 1970s. It wasn't Sandown, but not sure which course it was. About rhe same distance clear as the winner in this video, and maintained a huge lead despite only just staying 2 miles. A wonderful leaper of a fence!
Anyone who thinks this was anything more than a steering job is clearly watching a different sport. The winner could have been called with a circuit to go and his jockey likely let him go on as he was having his arms pulled out their sockets. Even physically, you can see he’s head and shoulders above this lot. The two early pace setters paid the price for trying to keep up the gallop with him.
And that there ladys and gentlemen is the BHA ,the stewarts and all else involved sticking their two fingers up to the genuine punters who are the forgotten back bone of racing ,and saying "We'll do what we like". The winner was backed from 10/1 into 5/1 before the off (rest assured this was more than a few locals having a punt)..With 1.5miles to go this horse is 35 lenghts clear of the horse in second ,and 50 lengths clear of the favourite sitting in last ,which eventually finishes 4th after making up nearly 50 lengths .No enquiry,no cautions , disgusting.
Is it really that bad a run from the rest? Some finished fairly close which is the case in most jumps races. The difference was the winning jockey opted for to go quick and hope there's enough in the tank to last home whereas the others preferred go a moderate pace and then try sprint home. Every jockey has to run the race to suit there own horse and not every horse would've suited going a quick tempo.
Have to agree with that...Only had to count the seconds between the leader jumping a hurdle and the next horse jumping it to know that the commentator's 20l was more like 40l
He was a hurdle clear at one point. I never had a bet in this race thank god but the stewards need to bring in every other jockey for an explanation. They won't though as they are terrible judges of race-riding
This was only a low grade handicap, running off of 93, clouting the two out, far enough clear it didn’t stop him. Brilliant tactics by his claiming amateur

Great ride
Top tipping again - well done 👏.
@@mcvicarross7 hello love
@nicksonsandra71 hello back 😆
What a great ride by Shay. Lovely race riding.
Nice to see these frontrunners enjoying themselves!
It's good jockeyship by Mr Shay Halton on the winner...the other jockeys were asleep and he took advantage of that
Well said

GREAT TO SEE THE 2 LAND IN THE WINNERS CIRCLE!!
And that’s the main reason why I never bet on Amateur riders races including Hunter Chases. Many of them don’t have any ideas on race pace.
Great ride
Great ride 👌 👍
A terrific front running performance
Reminds me of Outlaw Torn at Newcastle.

It was never asked a thing, well said his weight would have gone through the roof
Yet again, race where 99o/o of riders are reactive rather than proactive.. arses. Which takes us nicely to .. what a cheeky ride!

Bet phil was sweating. He was looking at a big hike from the handicapper.
Xmas money for stable
50 lengths at least
Jockeys should be banned.kepy the fav way back.this is the new scam lately
Dreadful commentary. Was way way many more lengths ahead. And they were never going to get to him.

Apart from the the winning jockey all the others should get a 30 day ban
I can't understand what he's saying it's like I'm listening to Harry kane doing an interview haha
Thats why i dont bet on amatuer races lol
The jockey looks like the banjo 🪕 player in the movie the deliverance 😂😂
Fighting a losing battle with the ugly stick. 😮
Your attack on how someone looks makes you look like the fat guy that had his pants pulled down in the same movie.
Rest of them asleep 😴 ffs shocking it is
Cheats
People will say they are amture
People will say they are amateur jockeys but they can not let an horse go 30+ lengths clear then try to catch it on the run in
Jockeys should be banned
What a disgrace
Why ?
