I can’t thank you enough for all your tutorials. I was new to quilling 3 months ago and you have taught me so much. I have been practicing and practicing all your flowers, swirls and everything else you have shown us. I have just copied your letter S for my friend Suzie and I am so pleased with it. Thanks Annigan x❤️
Amazing watching you work, this project is beautiful with all the different types of shapes that you show and explain “how to” instructions. I’ve done quilling before but not for awhile, so I’m getting back to doing it. See one of the first pieces I did was 2 feet by 4 feet, didn’t think I’d every do quilling again but here I am doing small projects and loving the process. Thank you for sharing!
Holy Moly - 2 ft x 4 ft ???? What was it? I'm so super curious!! I'm sure quilling is a whole different beast when you're doing something that large. Very intriguing. I don't think I'm ready for that level yet!
@@annigancreates6074 I was asked to make a stunning piece of art for an art and floral show. I’d never really done a lot of quilling but thought that’s what I wanted to do. The show was held in our local country club that was celebrating its 50 year anniversary. So I quilled the country club building and it was made of rocks and glass. With mature trees around it and in front of the building was one of the putting greens with the flag on the green. Took me over 450 + hours to do. Wish I could send you a pic of it but don’t know how to do it on Utube. I do have a pic of it on Instagram along with my painting and sketches. It’s listed by my name. After doing that piece I didn’t think I’d ever quill again but here I am doing it again but nothing that big... ever again!
That sounds AMAZING! Did you auction it off? It's mind boggling to think of all the work that must've taken. What was the background that you glued onto?
Yay! I love flourishes. It's good to exercise some restraint, though. I've seen some that are over the top and just too much. Keeping them white helps tone them down too.
Hello Annigan, I have just been watching your tutorial you posted on u tube a year ago WOW absolutely stunning I was so Impressed with the end result & even more impressed with the way you said everything you were doing step by step & how you showed how to make ALL the different Elements so I would just like to say thank you so much for sharing a very good & very Understandable video on u tube ALL THE BEST LIN ❤️
That's awesome feedback, thank you so much! Truly appreciate you taking the time to send some confidence-boosting my way. And just when I'm beginning a project after a long break, perfect timing!
Yes, you can use these same ideas in many other projects. I'm glad you noticed that and I hope crafters can do that very thing. Thanks for your comment!
WOW 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰never seen this type of craft before You got me hooked I have ordered some quilling paper & starter kit from Amazon to try myself (fingers crossed it turns out even half as good as yours 😆)
Isn't great? I had a similar reaction the first time I saw quilling and it was just a picture. Just wait until you make something, quilling is even better seen in person!
Hello from Ontario Canada. Your work is absolutely gorgeous!!!!! As someone who is considering trying quilling I feel a tad intimidated........lol I'm sure I'll get over it...lol
Hello! I started quilling by doing letters. My first one wasn't great, but I gifted it anyway. The second one saw a ton of improvement. And my 6th one I thought was awesome. I hope you'll give it a try. I get such a kick out of trying new things on every project. A good way to start would be making a simple flower and surrounding it with scrolls. It's an easy way to fill at least 1/4 of a letter. Thanks for the comment and good luck!
Oh no, I'm sure if you can fill an outline, you can make the outline too. If you're intimidated by it, I'd suggest starting out with a simple block letter. I like using a lightbox, but you can also trace the letter outline so it leaves an imprint of the letter on the paper underneath. Or heck, you could also try printing the letter very lightly so it hardly shows and then glue directly onto it. OR, another idea is not to use an outline at all! Here's an idea I did where I quilled on top of a flat letter: ruclips.net/video/75mwXt00KnA/видео.html Hope that helps! Thanks for your comment.

Perfection. Thank you. Your flourishes are really growing on me.
