- The grandiose soundscape of Queen's Made In Heaven (1995) captivated me as an early teen. The song was originally made by Freddie Mercury as a solo venture in 1985. Following his death, his band members took up the track and reorchestrated it with their signature Queen sound. Outfitted with thundering drums and guitar, the song's twists and turns deliver previously uncapitalized impact, from the statement G minor intro (originally lone piano octaves) to the climactic guitar solo (a completely new addition, justifying the previously unsatisfied build-up of the bridge). Overall, the five-key rock track takes on an atmosphere epic and otherworldly - maybe fulfilling what the lyrics and title try to get at, though they aren't what keeps me coming back to listen years later.

This is both a song I've been trying to cover for years and my last video on my current setup, so I went all out and put in far too many notes (hence the joke in the subtitles following the title card). It was a bit rushed as I ran out of time, but the first half is exactly where I wanted it!]
