I always do the basic crimp but I'm going to try that slit and fold thing for a change.

How do you keep the little leaves from burning before the rest of the pie is done?
Try covering with aluminum foil
Nicely done but need to go a bit slower on showing every one.
My leaves all fell off,after baking.I used an eggwash and lightly pressed down.Ugggh!
