Another anti-mlmer. If that's a word. Anyways, i don't appreciate you or those who make these videos because you've almost made your own industry out of diverting others interest.
It's not fair on those genuine individuals who are truelly in this to change their lives and who genuinely want to see others lives change.
Help this individual instead of the unnecessary critique and embarrassment when she has to see this. Show her to do better. Give solutions to what she can do. It's not about you. This is about someone else's journey. Please stop this

    • @HannahAlonzo
      @HannahAlonzo  2 года назад +800

That’s exactly the problem. The industry of multi-level marketing doesn’t allow for over 99% of those who join to “change their lives”. It is a predatory business model that sells the dream of financial freedom when it cannot deliver on that promise. As stated in the disclaimer at the start of every video, this is not about “unnecessary critique” or “embarrassing” people. This is about showcasing the behaviors of people involved in this industry and debunking the misinformation they are spreading while also protecting their privacy out of respect.
Additionally, reaching out to these people to “show her to do better” or “give solutions” will never work. And you would know this if you actually watched my videos or understood the cult-like tactics that these companies employ to alter the mindsets of their representatives. The goal is never to get these people out of their MLMs, the goal is to show the harmful nature of the industry to prevent others from joining.
I don’t care if you don’t appreciate that I make these videos. I care about the people that message me every day saying that they didn’t join an MLM because of the information my videos provided them.

To assume a dog has the precognition to “know” the bunny is their pet or know it did “wrong” by killing it but NOT see the real, prevalent manipulation of the MLM industry is absolute bonkers. The dog wasn’t guilty, it was recognizing their distress and trying to minimize itself to avoid repercussion. I made it to the point in that clip where she described the dog getting out and killing the rabbit before I couldn't stomach it anymore. As somebody who has had to hold my beloved pets because of illness or injury to make it to the vet (one of which didn't make it to the vet's office), it is a traumatic experience. To talk so openly about this in front of a child who just lost their beloved pet (who probably had to witness it) is horrifying. I didn't realise she had the child HOLDING HIS DYING AND MANGLED PET. That is just plain sick on her part.
Listen, I have had farm dogs that were known as the type of dog that were cat or other animal killers, but we trained them not to be that way. One of our farm dogs was a husky/German Shepherd mix that we trained not to chase and intimidate our cats. He loved cats though. He befriended and tried playing with all of our farm cats. Unfortunately, he could not befriend the gruffy alpha cat that absolutely hated him.
That woman was almost taking pleasure in knowing that her dog killed her childrens rabbit.

I'm appalled that she would talk like this RIGHT in front of her poor child who was already traumatized by the situation. Even egging him on to make him as sad as possible in order to pull on the heart strings of the viewer. Having him relive different parts of the trauma, while you can tell he's absolutely destroyed over it. This lady seems like an actual sociopath. She feels NOTHING emotionally, not for her pet rabbit, and not even for her own son. Then for her to just snap right into the sales pitch...disgusting. This feels so twisted. Her kid is most likely traumatized for life, and she's USING that to get people to buy hair products. She doesn't deserve to be a parent. I know that's a strong thing to say, but so be it.

As a white person with a very finicky scalp (gets too oily/itchy/build-uppy if I go more than a couple days without washing), I've heard this a lot and from what I understand it seems not only different with different hair textures, but each person. It's a very individual thing and no one should be telling someone else how to take care of their hair if they've found what works. I'd love a Monat rep to slide into my DMs since my doctor recommended I go fragrance free and sulfate free due to perioral dermatitis (rash around the mouth that's irritated/caused by that stuff) just so I could shut them down in the nicest way possible. Side note too, I can't wash every day or my scalp gets too dry flakey. It's a fragile balance for me.

One day I left home, put my dogs in their kennel, and left the rabbit and kenneled dogs in the same room. When I arrived home, my then 4 year old ran to get his bunny. I kept hearing him say "wake up Bunny Rooster (his name)! Wake up!" My gut sank. I knew the bunny was dead. I walked into the room and sure enough, little Bunny Rooster was permanently sleeping. That was almost 10 years ago and I'm still shattered by that experience. Right now, I have tears just telling the story. We surmise that somebody rang the doorbell while we were gone, the dogs started barking wildly, and the rabbit died from fright. Omg I miss Bunny Rooster with my whole soul! Licensed cosmetologist here: Shampoo is only "necessary" for washing your scalp. Your hair doesn't get dirty unless you go roll in the dirt, it's your scalp that gets oily or has dandruff build up and whatnot. That being said, shampoo is not significantly different from hand soap. Hate to break it to you, but shampoo is just liquid soap that smells good. You could just as easily get a clean head of hair using the same stuff you use on your hands.
Conditioner is also just hair wax. It coats the strand, so it makes the segments lay down smoother, so it gives the illusion of being "healthier", when in fact the ONLY cure for split ends is cutting them off. Never trust any hair product that promises to "heal" your hair--your hair is not alive. Your scalp is alive, your hair follicle is alive. But the hair is just keratin, and is doomed to slowly dry out and fall off.
This is freely available knowledge, too. You don't have to be a beautician to do research about how a thing does/doesn't work.

But, I watch a RUclipsr named WillOnAWhim who has a hilarious and fitting saying, "Split ends are like fake friends: CUT THEM OFF!" 😂.
It was a similar channel (Deeper Than Hair TV) that taught me what you said about split ends as well. Not just that split ends cannot be repaired, but also, leaving your split ends will just cause them to unravel all the way up the hair shaft, meaning you'll eventually have to cut more off.

What disturbs me on clip one (one of the many things) is the animal cruelty. If the bunny was alive for hours or even when she found it why did she not bring it to the vet?? If lets say the bunny couldn't get to a vet nearby for whatever reason (no car, they live in a rural area, etc) then why let it suffer for hours?? The humane thing would be to take it away from the kids and end its suffering. Then maybe have a little funeral and private talk to the child about the event and their feelings. Having a child hold a dying bunny for hours with blood pooling on them?? That's trauma the child will never forget.

Okay all I can say is WTF!!! I raised show rabbits for almost a decade, sometimes you have to put rabbits down. My baby, favorite rabbit I’ve ever had was a mini Rex named Rolo, he was 15 (that’s incredibly old for a rabbit, like a dog living 20+ years old) and we ended up having to put him down because the last couple months of his life he started to go down hill and quickly became a sick bunny with a poor quality of life. Yes it was extremely hard, but it’s something you have to do as a responsible pet owner. You stop being selfish and do the right thing to help the life that’s in YOUR hands. She could have done soooo many things to put that rabbit down, if she couldn’t do it herself, why not rush it to the vet? Even if it’s just to be put down, it’s worth it. You don’t let an animal suffer for HOURS when it’s clearly in agony and going to die a slow, painful death. Ugh this makes me so mad, and then using it to get sympathy and bringing in your poor, traumatized son into it too. Who TF uploads pictures of their kid balling because their pet just died?! What a terrible mother.

    • @JuMiKu

Exactly! There comes a point, where you have to be a responsible adult (, which she unfortunately isn't). She blamed the kids and dog, instead of herself, showing all you need to know about her maturity level.
We only have her word that there was nothing that could be done btw. Who knows if a vet couldn't have helped that rabbit? And just as you said: Release is help at that point.
They kept a single rabbit with a dog that has a history of hunting and killing. And the "cage"-comments certainly don't sound like "2 square meter enclosure". I'd say she isn't the best pet owner.

My thoughts exactly. When she said “she knows she did wrong, she came in and cowered.” Like if the dog literally knew it was killing another pet?!? NO LADY, your dog is sad and scared that she disappointed you when YOU are the one who should have prevented that. That’s so fucking gross I can’t even. That entire scenario could have been avoided if she actually cared about the safety of both animals. What a sorry excuse for a pet owner.

@@patriciawills32 Is it just a beagle, or is it a mix?
I ask because yes, if it's a purebred beagle, I agree with you; they were bred to hunt small animals. Otherwise, yeah, I am/would be very worried about those kids. There's a certain dog breed whose owners love to insist that their dogs being aggressive against other dogs & domestic animals isn't the same as being aggressive against people, but it's a fact that many dogs (of that breed) who attack, maul, and kill humans have a record of attacking animals in the past.
Either way, if you own a dog with a small-animal prey drive like that (beagles, greyhounds, dachshunds, etc...) then you SHOULD NOT also own small animals. That's just irresponsible and dangerous. (I mean, yes, if you're someone who has enough space to keep them *always* separated and handle both animal's care personally every time, etc., then that's a bit different, but you don't put small children in charge of keeping them separate and expect them to do it flawlessly every time.)
I am just genuinely sickened by this woman. To leave that poor bunny out there like that for hours? To blame the kids and film them? I'm not being dramatic when I say I would have reported her for animal cruelty, if she was someone I knew, and would be watching her very closely after that.

Dogs do not "know it's wrong" when it comes to prey drive, that is an innate instinct you cannot train out of them. I know I can never get a cat, or ferrets, or especially rabbit because my greyhound has high prey drive that will take over her brain if left in the wrong situation. I have diligently trained my dog to be around cats, but you can still tell the ingrained natural response is still there if I don't diligently monitor every second there's a small animal in her presence
There's a real callousness in this video, first in ever letting the dog in a situation where it could be unattended around a rabbit, then in letting the rabbit suffer for HOURS because your husband wasn't home and not even attempting to go to a vet, then in recounting these genuinely traumatic events in front of her already traumatized child, and lastly by posting a chipper sales pitch immediately after because you can't possibly take a day off an mlm no matter what happens

I use to be part of Young Living, the only reason this lady cares so much about her downline hitting Silver is that some of the higher ranks require you to have a particular amount of people that rank as Silver underneath you so you can get your rank. So if their had been a decline recently and her downline lost their Silver ranks, she would have lost her rank too. Meaning now she needs more Silver's underneath her again so SHE can get her rank back after the decline.

in my case shampooing every day is a necessity because I have skin condition thst gets worse if I dont wash them. I also need to use specific harsh shampoos. its not true for everyone that Washing hair less often will make them less greasy, in some cases it will make it worse.

Thank you for commenting about the hair training being successful for your own personal hair texture. There’s actually no evidence that hair training works. It doesn’t work for me at all! I need to wash every other day and condition. Abbey Yung has great videos on this.

In Young Living, I was paid in account credit if my paycheck was below $25. This might have changed since I left, but I still have money sitting in my account and they will not give it to me. When I canceled my account, They sent one last monthly box without my authorization. They then tried to blame me for not checking my account for policy updates that supposedly allowed for them to send the package. It is a long story about how I finally got my refund on that product but to sum it up, they tried to offer me account credit. Like I would want to buy any more product from them.

I did it, and I actually wash my hair for moisture now because it just doesn't get greasy at all.
I stretched it out one extra day every couple of weeks so I was never a grease ball. I can go at least a week without washing, but my curls are pretty parched and stretched by that point so I usually do every four days.

You're SO right about not using shampoo. I haven't "washed" my hair in 10 years, I only use water - and it's always been shoulder length or longer and is not thin. It doesn't get "greasy" at all.

I genuinely laughed at the 150 dollars bonus begging lady because literally yesterday a colleague complained that the bonus ADVANCE he got was ONLY 250 euros. And he was telling me how he was very disappointed when he saw the amount because he expected more. But this is just an advance, he will be getting his full bonus in a few months and he joined the company last quarter 😂
And then those MLM babes come for us 9-5 people and tell us our pay sucks

My brother was an addict and he also loved diffusing. But thank god no one convinced him joining an essential oil mlm would save him, because the diffusing sure didn’t. It made him feel more relaxed, but ya’ know, addiction is multifaceted and can’t be cured with essential oils. If it wasn’t clear, he is no longer here. I would have a personal vendetta against anyone who used his vulnerabilities to sell him on this bullshit. 🤬
