I have searched and searched for vids on how to do these steps with the Silhouette, (I just got one!!), and they all seem to show all the digital stuff but not the actual loading and printing. This is THE. BEST. VIDEO. I have seen on how to cut stickers. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!! I am SO excited to try to cut now!!!!
Finally! I've been searching a few days and no video til now gave the full print AND cut strips. Everyone skips that part about printing and focuses on the silouette step only. Thank you!
This video was so helpful. Just got into planning and printables look like they’re the go to for my lifestyle as well. Will be purchasing both printing gadgets soon. Thank you so much for this video!
You got me hooked on Paper and Gumption kits the first time I saw one on your channel. I have purchased about ten of her kits and can't wait to grab more. I always like to hear about shops with great printable, as I prefer matte stickers, and love to be able to print extras of anything I might need.
i love printable shops i wish there were more out there. i live in the uk and i would love to buy more from the us but customs is so expensive so i having printables is so helpful, great video x
I get my matte sticker paper on amazon but there's a company called rock paper scissors and its $17 for 100 sheets! I'm not affiliated but I do like it and it's less expensive than avery!
I use an hp photosmart. I got it in 2008 and it's still running very well so I haven't felt a need to replace it! I recommend hp! not canon though.... I have canon at work and it's a lot more dull even in photo settings!
Genevieve Rodriguez THANKS so much for all the info!! Im going to go and get my first silhouette today!! I just ordered the paper you suggested!! I hope you have a lovely day!!
Your timing for this is impeccable. I'm looking to do some printable kits again after trying and failing months ago. Now I feel like I can really do it this time. Thank you so much!
Great video. Here's a tip... I also dislike wasting my sticker paper to print one small sheet of headers. So, I usually print the headers (or other smaller sheets) from several kits on one sheet. That way I can still enjoy the matching headers without wasting my sticker sheets every time I want to print them out. Again, love your videos. You've gained a subbie!
You did a great job! 😊 I have been wanting to buy printable stickers for a while, but I don't have a silhouette, so I'm hoping to get one soon, maybe I'll treat myself to one for my birthday 🎂. Thanks, it was very helpful.
Thanks to you , in an older video you mentioned the paper and gumption printable shop, So i took the chance and I bought from her . since then I enjoy using her kits, I think they are very nicely done, lots of things to work with . But the only thing I will like her to change is her weekend banner once in a while, thank you for been so honest with your opinion , looking forward for more blogs
Cardboard Couture ohh yeah that is for sure! I spent lots of money, buying stickers from different shops, and I started 6 months ago with this way of planning. And let me tell you... is expensive!
I love this. I’m one of them girls that has been hand cutting out my printable stickers! I have a silhouette... I just didn’t know how to use it for printing and cutting stickers. I’ve used it for other things but definitely have been using it to its full potential!
Thank you for this. I have been trying to decide on which machine to buy and the silhouette seems so much less complicated. This was so easy to follow.
Watching in January 2018!!!! Still very helpful video! I'm starting my very first new planner this year and i am printing my own stickers! Thanks for the video 😘
Just had to come and tell you!! I am using the "Chase The Sun" printable kit from PaperCrownPlanner this week and it's amazing! Comes with cut lines too! 😘 Tons of cute kits too! Check out the poolside kit!! 😍
This look much easier than some of the other videos I've watched. Some people do a lot of things with the settings in the program which looks confusing to me.
Wow this is amazing...Im have been looking for a more affordable way to purchase the planner kits but they are often very expensive. Im a student living on a budget and this is an Awsome idea not mention practical. Love it !!
I want to purchase a silhouette because like you said sometimes we just have to budget but which in your opinion is better the portrait size or the large cameo? And then there are machines like cricket, or scan and cut. How do you decide where to invest your money? Thank you so much for doing this video! I will be referring to it often once I get my cutter. 😄
Fabulous video!! Thank you so much for sharing. I am new tot he Happy Planner commnity and I was wondering how people were creating stickers from the printables. Thank you for such a great tutorial!!!
thank you so so much for making this video! You are so thorough and hit every single point that I have no questions at all! I have been waiting for years to purchase a silhouette because I couldn't find a good video that taught me how to use it or that I could go back to and find the answer I was looking for! I really appreciate this I am going to go purchase a silhouette today and I am so excited! also thank you so much for the shops mentioned in this video that was one of the reasons I hadn't purchased the silhouette was because I didn't no what shops sold the kids with the cut files.. sorry this message is super long with no punctuation I think I'm just very excited!!! I hope you have a lovely day and yeah thanks again super super excited!!! one question LOL have you made any more videos on how to use the silhouette other than with planner kits? Thanks again!! XOXO, Erica C
It would have been nice if you explained what a silhouette machine /software is.. This is my first time trying to figure out how Etsy downloadable stickers work.. and you kinda lost me talking about silhouette.. till I saw that you have a machine to do the cutting. BUT thank you.. cause now I have an idea of what else to research :)
I have a BIG Happy Planner so it's tough for me to find kits. but like you said, at the time of buying my planner, I was on a Michael's budget, not an EC. 😂
See I having starting my sticker business yet but I think the silhouette Cameo 3 the silhouette Cameo 3 off Amazon comes with cutting mat u just need the pens and vinyl
Is it worth it to buy a silhouette and print my own stickers? I feel like I spend a fortune on kits... I think I might be a convert... I love your disclosure on how you use cheap sticker paper. LOL. The quality looks pretty good to me.
Cut files? So you can print it on your home printer and then feed it in Cricut to cut? I assume same process as what you do for Silhouette. Cool. Didn't know how all this works. Learning! thanks!
I use Rock, Paper, Scissors Matte Sticker Paper... you can get a 100 count for around $18 and I think it is wonderful to use. I have also used Online Labels as well but wasn't real crazy about them. Also, when the shop provides cut files... That helps so much if you have a silhouette!
Question... is there a way to print then cut a sticker sheet in Silhouette and not cut out your logo... or isolate your logo from cutting. This is driving me nuts! :)
Do You ever have a problem cutting? Where it's off just a tad and have to do it over? The one I got only 1 page had an issue, the other one the glitter headers wouldn't print right, but I moved my mat over and it worked. I think It's me....in fact i KNOW it's me and not the company lol.....but do you ever get those?
I am.....but mine doesn't need to be so bright, if it's too bright it won't read the reg marks..... Very toucy machines for sure.....I have the cameo and had I known the portrait and cameo were the same except the mat size was different I would've saved a lil money and got the portrait. I've also read alot of people saying how the cameo is more touchy and picky lol......so alot of trial and error.......The paper u use??? I tried that paper cuz it's cheaper, easy to get, BUT it ripped my stickers and they stuck to my mat because they have the slit in the back.how do you do it so it doesn't do that??? I suppose it cant do that if you are taking the paper off of the mat with the stickers face down, which I do anyway otherwise omg my stickers curl up like a taco haahahahaha
msneede girl Since these stickers are created by other people, it would be illegal and unethical for her to sell them. Just go to the Etsy shops she share in the description box and the actual designers' links are there. Have fun! 😊
Would the brother printer work with design space through an IPad? I can’t seem to figure out why my brother printer won’t connect (wirelessly) to my design space...it works with everything else .. computer phone etc.
@@cardboardcouture6557 Thank you so much for replying! Yes, I was thinking something like a step by step for beginners would be really helpful with explanation of what things are. I will go take a look. Thank you!

That was so cool. I wondered how all that was done. Thank you for your videos Tiffany!
So glad I found this video! I can't wait to start printing my own stickers.

It's pretty good quality for matte paper.

Yay!! I have a more updated video too about cutting stickers. Check it out! I hope your hand-cutting days are OVER!!
This was an excellent video...thank you. I will.give this a shot.
Thanks for this video, any suggestions for when the registration marks are not being picked up by the machine? I have a light on it.
Thanks so much for posting this. I have a cameo and also a min foil machine that I NEVER use. I'm going to dust them off and give it a go.
That's so awesome! I hope it all works out well!!!
This was so amazing and fun to watch! Thanks for sharing this!

Zany Rin did you get your cutter? I'm not sure which one to purchase either.
AajaMereSaajanaa - no, I'm still on the hunt.
I would say the Portrait is fine. The cameo is bigger and more fancy, but the Portrait is extremely functional and way more cost effective. IMO!
Cardboard Couture hi again! does the portrait do everything The Cameo does? if not what is the difference?
TIA 😊

Am a newbie to this sticker making , I am not sure what machine to get the silhouette or the cricket one ? Any suggestions
jennifer h i own a silhouette as well as a cricut, and id definitely recommend the silhouettes!! much easier to use and less mistakes on my part🤪
See I having starting my sticker business yet but I think the silhouette Cameo 3 the silhouette Cameo 3 off Amazon comes with cutting mat u just need the pens and vinyl

This was very helpful And you picked gorgeous kits!
Can you explain more about the registration marks? I'm new and don't understand their purpose. Ty. Loved the tutorial.
Cut files? So you can print it on your home printer and then feed it in Cricut to cut? I assume same process as what you do for Silhouette. Cool. Didn't know how all this works. Learning! thanks!
Love this! Thanks for the awesome content as usual!
How do you choose inkjet settings? My files are printing out pretty dull.
I just love your setup, I would love to do something like that. But I think I'll have to keep buying my stickers already on Pages
what type of sticker paper do you recommend and do u think that printer is best for sticker printing?
I did not know about the lighting. I was having so many problems with reg marks with shops that had cut files and couldn't figure out why
Oh, I'm glad this helped! The light makes all the difference!
There are some things you use that I don't know what they are... what machine did you use to cut the stickers? where do you get a silhouette?
I use Rock, Paper, Scissors Matte Sticker Paper... you can get a 100 count for around $18 and I think it is wonderful to use. I have also used Online Labels as well but wasn't real crazy about them. Also, when the shop provides cut files... That helps so much if you have a silhouette!
Thank you so much! I will check that out!!
thanks for the tips. My question is why are your registration marks different sizes from both shops? does it matter?
I didn't realize they were!
I don't change the registration marks at all, some shops do. You can adjust them to be wider and shorter, but it can cause registration fails.
I just use good ole scissors, an Xacto, and a craft slicer. Hahaha.
This was Great! Thanks so much!
Great video...thank you so much.
Thank you!
what setting do I use if Im using a circut cutter ? do I still use silloutte??
okay so this might be a stupid question but can you use a Cricut instead of the silhouette
Thanks for sharing the coupon codes!!! ❤️😊
Can you do the same with the Cricut?
What settings do you use to ensure it KISS cuts them?
Hi how do I register on a silhouette cameo 4 settings and i purchased the same stickers and its giving me register fail.... :-o
oh btw I printed the one you did lol. It's so pretty
thank you for this!!! Do you know how to create a cut file?? i'd love to know that!
I am TERRIBLE at creating cut files! But I know that if you search on RUclips, there are some videos on how to do it.
Question... is there a way to print then cut a sticker sheet in Silhouette and not cut out your logo... or isolate your logo from cutting. This is driving me nuts! :)
I have a Cricut explore air 2 , how would I print them out from Design Space?
I’m not sure because I don’t have a Cricut. But I do know that shops include a PDF form of their stickers that I’m sure you can convert to Cricut.
Great but I just got a Crucut, I want to learn how to make the kits! 😆
You can do it!
+Lisa Willett I have that problem all the time. Are you using a light above your Silhouette machine?
I am.....but mine doesn't need to be so bright, if it's too bright it won't read the reg marks..... Very toucy machines for sure.....I have the cameo and had I known the portrait and cameo were the same except the mat size was different I would've saved a lil money and got the portrait. Once you printer the stickers the first time. Can you go back and reprint?
Jocleta Mclaughlin If you save the file on your computer, yes. 😊
Do you ever sell these sticker sheets already printed and cut for a newbie like me who would only be confused on how to print and cut these?
msneede girl Since these stickers are created by other people, it would be illegal and unethical for her to sell them. Just go to the Etsy shops she share in the description box and the actual designers' links are there. Have fun! 😊
So does this only cut in Silhouette? I have a Cricut. Can I cut it with my machine?
You'll have to purchase a printable kit that has a Cricut option!
Does this work with a Cricut?
I'm assuming this works on Cri cut, right?
this helped so much thanks! xox
What program did you use?
Your filming was better than most. Don't be so hard on yourself
Would the brother printer work with design space through an IPad? I can’t seem to figure out why my brother printer won’t connect (wirelessly) to my design space...it works with everything else .. computer phone etc.
Oh how strange! Does Apple or Brother have a customer service number you can call?
Might be a silly ?...but does it cut the circular stickers also?
(BTW I like hearing the kids in the background...real life) ☺️
Lydia Moody It can do any shape you want! 😁
How do you not run out of color ink for your printer?
I bought some stickers I having trouble when I try to cut it says failure can you plz help
cool! thank you
Am thinking I need to get a silhouette machine 😊 thank you x
thank you so much 💜!!!!
how do you cut them in Cricut?
Thank you!
thank you so much for you video I have to down load the free image first then unzip it.
Thank You!!🌷
You're so welcome!
What is Silhouette please
Hello! It's a cutting machine many use to make stickers.
Can you only use a silhouette?
There are printables available for Cricuts too.
I love printable and have a portrait but don’t know how to download and cut them
Hopefully this helped!
How long does the silhouette take to cut one page?
+misssuteki it depends how much is on the page. It can take 3-7 minutes I've found.
Oh wow! Thank you!
Can the portrait do A4 pages?
Can you please do a 101 video? I have no idea what silhouette is or cut files.
What did you have in mind?
There are a lot of Silhouette videos on RUclips that really helped me! I recommend searching for Silhouette videos.
@@cardboardcouture6557 Thank you so much for replying! Yes, I was thinking something like a step by step for beginners would be really helpful with explanation of what things are. I will go take a look. Thank you!
