IKR and the fact that the duffer brothers didn’t even plan it like I saw that there was clocks in the older seasons but I think the duffer brother said they didn’t plan it from the beginning since it was only supposed to be one season

@@alexboyd8764They designed the show so that it could stop at season 1 if it didn't blow up. All of the lore was presented to Netflix as requested, I'm sure some Netflix staff knew lore we haven't even seen yet in 2016.

As far as reporting a missing Child you should always be reported immediately because most kids who are abducted never make it past the first 24 hours and for adults you have to wait 24 hours before reporting them missing
no, you don't have to wait 24 hours before reporting an adult missing. that is a myth. it doesn't matter if that adult has been missing for an hour and is known for this kind of behavior, you should always report it immediately, and if the cop tells you anything other than they will file the report now, then you should ask to speak to their supervisor.
@@toxicnaware in the US back in the 80's, you had to wait 24 hours, they changed it because most kids were never recovered, and if they were, the majority of the time they had been killed.

man i forgot how funny these little kids were, season 1 was such a good time... especially for netflix - at it's PEAK. miss this vibe. nowadays netflix acting up smh. season 1 really goated, untouchable imo, it can't be helped.

The story with Hopper is that he used to be a Detective in a large city (maybe New York), but after the death of his daughter he turned to alcohol and drugs, quit the big city and moved back to the small town of Hawkins, Indiana, "where nothing ever happens" to take up the position of chief of police. More will come out the further the series goes along.

Stranger Things Season 1 came in 2016, Season 2 came out in 2017. Season 3 was released in 2019 to run as a summer show, but was filmed in 2018. Season 4 started filming in early 2020, but had to halt production because of COVID restrictions and didn't resume until late 2020, so they ended up filming until September 2021 because of restrictions and safety reasons. So season 4 part 1 was released in Spring 2022, a year after its initial release date was supposed to be. Due to the time jumps in between seasons, the aging of the characters is plausible though.

I remember when this show first came out and was being hyped everywhere I didn't get it. I checked it, watched the first 5 minutes, and didn't bother to watch the rest. A couple years later, I decided to finally sit through it and watch it and I understand why it's so hyped. Guess my middle school self didn't quite understand what a good show was

Now, let's talk about generation X. We grew up in the 70's and 80's at a time when most families had two parents in the house, but they really didn't focus on us. We were encouraged to get out and go play. Bike riding, sandlot baseball, and skating we're our favorite pastimes during the school year, and any body of water for swimming was the summer haunt.
It was rare for a kid to spend more than 2 hours a day inside the house, we were always outside on some crazy adventure. Due to this fact, a LOT of kids disappeared back then. It was rare for them to be found alive, if ever.
We grew up with movies like the Goonies, The Lost Boys, Neverending Story, Six Pack, as well as Nightmare on Elm street, Friday the 13th, Poltergeist, Hell Raiser, The Exorcist, Amityville Horror, Pumpkin Head, Halloween, Swamp Thing, Red October, The Day After, and a whole slew of other fear based cinema.
We had no internet, no cell phones, no social media. We had libraries and music stores.

This is one of my favorite shows of all time and I'm new to the channel but if you're continuing please just realize this is the Midwest in the 80s because there are a lot of things on this show that are a reflection of the time period that may not make sense now lmao such as assuming that 11 is a boy because of her shaved head and kids having the freedom to actually play outside.
